Disclaimer: I do not own Phineas and Ferb. The use of the OC, Emma Hunter, was approved by the owner Emma aka sunsh1ne1023. Please please please check out her work! It's awesome and you will NOT regret it!

Ferb stepped into the family room, where everyone had gathered and shuffled next to his one true love. It looked like everyone was deeply engrossed in conversation amongst themselves, especially Lawrence and Linda, who were playing with their new toys. As he stood next to Emma, he couldn't help but stare at her from the corner of his eye. Her blonde hair flowing past her shoulders, her alluring eyes and her contagious laughter. Just everything about her made his heart race. He felt the rush of blood developing on his face, causing him to reveal a deep blush. He peered downwards to her hand, which hung by her side. He gulped hard as he stealthily tried to brush it against his. Emma looked down at her hand before quickly peering upwards towards the owner of the unexpected extremity. She caught Ferb staring at her with a blush and a smile. She did the same and slowly moved her hand to be held in his, which was met with a chorus of 'Ooooooooo's and 'Awwwwwwww's. It was safe to say it didn't help the red hue across their faces.

As this scene unfolded in front of Candace, she took out her clipboard again and studied her list.

'One more task for the day...', thought Candace.

She looked at her watch. 6:42. The final act needed to be prepared. Candace excused herself from the company she was in, not that they noticed, and she walked into the backyard, closing the door behind her. Suddenly, she received a call. Her phone read 'Love Sandal'.

"Hey! Where are you guys?" asked Candace.

"Hey, Candace. We're just around the corner. Do you have a place we could set up?" replied Monty's cousin.

"Yeah, just park up in front when you get here...OK, see you soon."

She walked around to the front of the house and waited by the sidewalk. She could hear the rumblings of an old VW minivan and sure enough, it came around the corner and made a stop in front of Candace. The minivan was painted with a sparkly purple paint, however, the paint job was incomplete as the bonnet and rear bumper were still the original brown paint. On the side of the van facing Candace, it read 'Love Sandal' and in smaller font underneath it 'A Love Händel Tribute Band'. The side of the minivan opened up, revealing the members of the band and they all exited the vehicle.

"Thanks again for doing this, guys!" sighed Candace.

"That's alright. Any friend of Monty's is a friend of ours! So where's the gig?" said one of the band members.

"We have a stage set up for you guys out back."

The band all followed Candace to the backyard and began setting up their equipment. Candace watched as Love Sandal were getting prepared when Monty's cousin approached her.

Candace spoke first, "Thank you again for doing this! How much do I owe you?"

"Oh! Don't worry about it! We kinda needed the experience coz we only performed that one gig at Club Soda and that was it. Also, it's kinda nice to perform out in the open rather than stuck indoors!" laughed Monty's cousin.

"Heh heh...yeah..." said Candace, almost regretting her decision to hire them.

Candace took out her phone and texted her team plus Ferb and Emma to help her out with the food. She nodded approvingly at the replies she received. Thankfully, with the entertainment confirmed, they should have enough time for preparation of the food and in time for dinner.

Two figures stood still in a dimly lit hallway, still embracing one another. Both had comfortable smiles and sighed deeply and contently. Phineas and Isabella were in utter bliss before suddenly, they were interrupted by a deliberate cough from Vivian. Their eyes shot open and looked in her direction to see Vivian smiling at the two lovebirds.

"Awwwwww!" exclaimed Vivian, "You know, Phineas, ever since you were kids, she's had a huge crush on you!" and pointed towards Isabella.

"Yes, yes I do," said Isabella, as she nestled into Phineas' chest.

"Yeah, I wish I had known earlier..." Phineas softly said as he rested his head on the top of hers.

Their tender moment together was interrupted, once again, with another cough from Vivian. She laughed as her interruption had the desired result as Phineas and Isabella peeled away from each other but still held hands.

"OK OK. I'll leave you two alone. I'll be in the kitchen if you need me, you crazy kids..." she said while shooting a sly smile at the couple and left.

Isabella looked up at her triangular savant. She smiled at him and led him into her room.

-----

The unicorn was in the middle of making a new home on Isabella's bedside table under the lamp before the door opened. The unicorn managed to take Isabella's Fireside beret off the bedpost to use as a bed of sorts. As the door opened, the unicorn awoke from its short rest and hopped down from the table, to greet its new master at the door.

Isabella entered the room, with Phineas in tow. She bent down to pat her unicorn before walking to her bed. She sat on the side of her bed and patted the space beside her, gesturing to Phineas to sit with her. With a deep crimson blush running across his face, he nodded his head and sat gingerly next to her. He couldn't look her in the eye, the feelings of embarrassment and nervousness inside him swelled. He looked at Isabella's hand, still resting on the bed. He gulped hard before reaching his hand over to hold hers. He clenched his hand into a fist, in an attempt to dispel the nervousness making his hand violently shake and then reached for his target.

Seeing this, Isabella couldn't help but smile to herself. To help him, she met his hand halfway, interlocking their fingers. Both of them looked at their conjoined hands for a moment before looking at each other. Isabella smiled her usual sweet and captivating smile. Phineas chuckled nervously and started to speak.

Isabella saw his nervousness as plain as day. She thought, 'He is so cute when he's nervous. He looks so...vulnerable, like a fawn, finding its feet for the first time.' Her feelings for Phineas grew out of control at this sight before her. She couldn't help but want to embrace him. To hold him close. To kiss him. She thought the mood was right, they were holding hands and he gave her a heartfelt gift which was exploring every nook and cranny of the room. When is the perfect moment, if not at this exact moment?

"Isabella," Phineas began, "I'm so sor-"

Phineas was cut off mid-sentence as Isabella moved swiftly to kiss him. Her hands cupped the sides of Phineas' face as she used them to push herself deeper into the kiss, forcing Phineas to lean back. He could do nothing but stared wide-eyed in front of him. His facial expression began to relax as he started to melt into the kiss, his mind going blank. Nothing mattered anymore. Not his botched apology, nor his embarrassment and most certainly, not his past obliviousness. Everything that ever was, disappeared in a moment of complete joy and pleasure.

After a few moments, they broke apart.

Isabella spoke first, "Well, that was worth the wait."

"Yes. Yes, it was."

And they met for another kiss.

With the light from the dusk evening peering through the window, their unicorn pet gazed at the love birds, neighing softly as if cheering them on while it rests in its bed.
