As Candace huddled with Buford and Baljeet in the middle of the family room, with whispers filling the room.

"First," Candace started, "we need to distract mom."

"Oh! Oh! We could get Baljeet to explain the space-time continuum or something boring like that!" Buford suggested.

"Well actually, the sp-", said Baljeet before being interrupted by a punch in the arm from Buford.

"Not now!", Buford interjected.

"No, that won't work...Despite mom's degree in Astrophysics, I think she's heard it all before...", said Candace.

Buford replied, "...That was a joke...Your mom has a degree in Astrophysics?"

"Yeah yeah, but that's not why we're here. Come on guys, focus!", said Candace, trying to instil some enthusiasm into her group, "Hmmm...what can we do to prevent my brothers from getting busted? I have a feeling there's something I always do every day of every summer to get my mom to follow me somewhere?"

Buford and Baljeet just looked at each, knowing that they had the same thought. They then shifted their gaze on to Candace, who also picked up on what they're thinking.

"Oh yeah, I can do 'that', can't I? Alright, so we can do...'that' and bring mom out into the backyard. But what do we do once we're outside?" Candace asked her group.

"May I suggest we step outside? Most of Phineas and Ferb's ideas were conceived out there, plus who knows when your mom gets home? We'll be able to get the jump on her if she decides to go into the garage or upstairs." Said Baljeet.

As Baljeet suggested, they went back out into the backyard, staying relatively hidden and Buford had a clear line of sight of the front door. Candace stared into the empty yard, thinking about how everything began here, every summer without fail. Most of the inventions the boys thought of, all the parties and adventures. Despite her teenage urge to bust her brothers, she was also grateful and appreciative of them that they became closer and closer, going through so many hardships together. Sure, they initially were thinking about just having fun for themselves but in the end, it would be about having fun with those closest to them. She couldn't help but feel a little guilty. Candace moved out of the family home to go to college and would come back for holidays but, when was there a time she came back to just...have a chat?

With Phineas and Ferb's projects going on, she couldn't help but reminisce about the time she was secretly recorded writing a song for her mom's birthday. As tears started to well up in her eyes, she decided she wanted to sing for her mom again, to show her how much she loves and appreciates her mom. The question was, what song should she sing...? Just then, her train of thought derailed when she heard a very familiar song being hummed from someone right next to her, moving his finger side to side in time with the song. She turned to find Baljeet humming the song, 'I'm Lindana and I wanna Have Fun'.

Baljeet noticed Candace's gaze towards him and stopped humming.

"Sorry," he said, "the silence was getting to me so I went to my happy place - school!"

"School is fun for you?" she asked him.

"Well, yeah!" Baljeet then closed his eyes, wrapped his arms around himself and said, "Ooooooooh, just thinking about getting an A+ on that test you worked really hard for sends shivers up my spine!"

As he opened his eyes again, he saw both members of his party looking at him weirdly, as if to say 'Get a room...'

Baljeet almost cowered in embarrassment before speaking up and said, "Hey! You guys are the weird ones..."
