Murphy Bashir couldn't help but smile as he smelled the sweet smell of a classic breakfast that his Baba Adam cooked, he heard the sound of his Dad Simon talking no doubt hovering watching his Baba cook. Murphy got up from his bed and put his phone in his pants pocket. "Sabra, come." Murphy whistled to the german shepherd that was laying on his bed, Sabra's ears perked up and she followed Murphy towards the kitchen.

Murphy walked over to where his was Baba was standing by the stove and kissed him on the cheek. "Morning Baba, morning Dad." Murphy kissed his Dad on the cheek as well.

"Morning kiddo."

Murphy rolled his eyes fondly at Adam's comment, his parents continue to call him that even though Murphy is 26 years old. "What's for breakfast Baba?" Murphy asks sitting at the bar in the middle of the kitchen. "Taameya, would you like tahini sauce?" Murphy nodded as Simon said something. "I want tomatoes and onions with tahini sauce on mine." Adam sent him a look before pointing to the fridge. "Get it yourself darling, you have legs." Murphy snorted and pet Sabra on the head when he nudged Murphy's leg.

When Adam was done cooking Murphy got up to grab his food and sat down at the bar, his parents following suit. "What are everyone's plans for the day?" Simon asked before taking a bite of breakfast. "I'm off today thank goodness."

"I have a class at 2 pm, so I'm going to have to get Sabra ready."

Simon worked as a mechanic, while Adam worked as an LAPD Dog trainer since he's retired and Murphy got a job delivering packages. "So I guess it's going to be you two until Adam goes in huh?" Simon points to Adam and Murphy. Murphy nods happily. "Unless I get called in before Baba goes into work."

They finish breakfast quickly and hugs are shared when it's time for Simon to leave for work. "Love you, babe," Simon mutters to Adam and kisses him on the lips.

"Be safe Dad, have a good day."

Murphy didn't move from his spot on the couch petting Sabra but he knew that today would be the same as it always is. "Love you, Murph," Simon called out before Murphy heard the door shut telling him Simon left.

Murphy rubbed Sabra's head before he got and walked to the kitchen. "Do you need my help cleaning up?" Adam nodded and stepped aside from the sink. "You wash and I dry?" Instead of replying Murphy picked up his plate and dumped the leftovers in the trash and gathered all the plates in the sink to begin washing them.

"How's work been going Murph?"

He hums as he hands Adam a plate to dry off. "Pretty good, has Sabra been doing good for training?" Hearing her name Sabra got up from the couch walked over to the men doing the dishes. "She's doing good, it's a learning experience for all of us but I'm grateful that they asked me to train the dogs and their owners. She gets a little distracted sometimes but she's doing pretty good I would say."

"That's all that matters."

Murphy dried his hands once they finished and handed the slightly damp towel to Adam so he can do the same, Sabra got up from her spot on the floor near them and followed Murphy and Adam to the living room to relax until Adam had to leave.

Murphy just got comfortable when his phone buzzed, he groaned but he grabbed his phone. It turned to be one of his co-workers, he wanted Murphy to drop off a package at some fancy high-rise hotel. "What's wrong?" Adam asked when Murphy groaned in distaste.

"My co-worker wants me to drop off a package."

Adam looked puzzled. "I thought you were off." Murphy nodded in agreement. "I was, but my co-worker got food poisoning so he needs me to run this package to some high-rise hotel. He said it doesn't have to go in until 1 pm which is good, we should leave at the same time."

Sabra put her head on Murphy's lap making him smile and started scratching behind her ears, Murphy leaned down and kissed her on top of her head. "I'm glad you got to bring her home, Baba." When Adam told his family he was retiring they had a small fear that Sabra wouldn't get to retire either but the station decided that Adam deserved it, after all, Adam did get her when she was a puppy.

Adam looked at Murphy softly. "I'm glad too, I probably would have tried to buy her if I'm honest." Adam rubbed Sabra's paw as he looked at the clock and saw they should be going.

"It's 12 pm, we should get going."

Murphy nods and gets up, his job doesn't have a uniform luckily so he just grabs his phone and keys. "Have a good day Sabra." Murphy watches as Adam grabs Sabra's leash and a bag of treats.

"What, none for me?"

Murphy laughs and hugs Adam when he walks closer to Murphy who was standing by the door. "Love you, Baba." "Love you too Murph, be safe."

After he gets in his car and buckles himself in he turns on the radio to listen to some music, his coworker he was grabbing the package from was actually one of his best friends Carson's house that he shares with his boyfriend Brent. He pulls into the house to see Brent waiting outside for him. "He doesn't want you to see him like this." Brent chuckles and hands Murphy the package.

"Tell him I told him to get better."

Brent nods chuckling. "Did Carson tell you who this goes to? Someone in the hotel?" Brent snaps his fingers telling Murphy that he almost forgot that part. "He told me that it goes to the hotel, so just give it to the receptionist."

"Thank you, have a good day Brent."
