Izzy looked up just in time to see her father walk into the room.

She was currently laying comfortably in Raheems bed, reading an Urban book called Baby Mama that she had recently bought from Wal-Mart.

Raheem was out running a quick  errand, but would be back soon.

It was only 2 weeks since the shooting and Izzy was still on bed rest. It wasn't the doctors order, either. It was Raheems.

He'd been so careful and gentle with her, she was impressed.

He was handling her better than anyone had ever handled her at all.

Ricardo stepped farther into the room, hands sweating, fingers trembling.

He was confused.

What would he say?

Could he do this?

" Hey, Wassup?" Izzy asked after a minute of watching her father stand there in silence.

Ricardo barely jumped at the sound of her voice, but he did.

Izzy tilted her head to the left side, looking at him.

Why was he acting so fidgety?

She sat up straighter.

She was beginning to feel uncomfortable.

He wasn't saying anything. Just standing there.

Looking lost.

" You good?" she asked, causing him to jump again.

" Damnit. " he cursed himself out in the head.

What was he doing?

Why was he doing it?

He shook his head and pulled out his gun.

Izzy gasped, jumping up and standing against the wall.

" What the fuck?" Izzy yelled

Ricardo was going crazy.

How could he let her fool him.

He didn't love her! God did not love him.

He was going to hell anyway, he thought.

" I thought we were passed this." Izzy said, her voice shaking in the process.

Ricardo laughed wildy.

He had officially gone crazy.

" you sure did have me fooled." He started

Izzy shook her head.

" What?" She asked, confused.

Her chest was burning with nervousness.

Why the sudden change in heart?

" The whole thing was a set up! I've been thinking and realized that he came to kill me, but you jumped in front of the bullet. He knew the shot wouldn't kill you. Now y'all are gonna surprise and kill me. Am I  right?"

Izzy shook her head.

" No! That's crazy!"

Ricardo laughed.

" whatever, see you in hell baby girl. "

And 3 shots go off.
