What Daddy Don't Know

Chapter 9 :

" Anyway, this is Mike, Tez, and Marlon. " Raheem introduced the rest of his mains to Izzy.

Luckily, everyone else knew who she was.

Although she caught a few glares from a few other females, she decided to stay classy and ignore the ignorance.

" Hey. " she waved.

" So the Izzy. I heard a lot about you. " the one who she learned was Marlon said.

She nodded.

" All of it is probably true. " she replied

" So you really shot a nigga in his balls?" Tez asked

Izzy laughed.

" Not exactly. I was trying to shoot him in the chest but one of the guys boys had tackled me to the ground and made me lose aim. " she explained.

Technically, it wasn't her fault.

" Damn. What about the story about you cutting all of a niggas fingers off and giving them to his kids on Christmas?" Mike asked

They heard it all.

But that one.

It was true.

She hated that day.

" Um..I didn't want to give the children his fingers but I didn't have a choice. " she said

She didn't like talking about it.

The look on those kids faces when she handed them the tiny boxes and them opening it.

" You have to be heartless. Can't spare nobody feelings. Young or old, it don't matter baby girl. " her father had said

" Aight that's enough with the questions. " Raheem intruded

Izzy was thankful.

" So you and Brick in something serious?" Tez asked

Izzy looked up at Raheem.

They were all sitting in his office.

" That's none of y'all business. " Raheem said

Zeke rolled his eyes.

" Come on. You know you can tell us. Its still unbelievable that you got Izzy. Word has it she don't even look at niggas. A lot of us though she was gay. " He said

Izzy laughed at Zeke.

" No way. I mean I just ain't never really had time for no nigga. " she shrugged.

And most the time, daddy would chase any Nigga away that ever approached her.

" So what makes this nigga any different?" he asked her

Izzy didn't answer.

She didn't know how.

Honestly, he was different in every way.

She was so attracted to him, she couldn't picture not being in His life.

She liked him.

" Does it really matter?" she asked instead.

He shook his head and raised both hands in surrender.
