Introduction.
I frequently advise budding poets that the primary responsibility of a poet is to shine a light on all aspects of the human condition; be it romance, humour, politics, equality in all things. While it is important to write honestly, (and in my opinion, simply.) it is also important to write fearlessly, no matter the subject. Write in a manner that stimulates discussion, do not write to offend although that might be the result of honesty.
I shall endeavour to do all of those things in this collection.
Do you believe your politicians?
Do you believe the media, both written and broadcast?
Do you believe corporate advertising?
Have you ever fallen for a scam?
Have you been bullied, or do you bully others?
I shall also endeavour to inject humour where I feel it reinforces the message.
These will be my opinions and I ask no one to subscribe or adopt them.
Please feel free to comment with your own opinions, but more, I sincerely want you to enjoy.
