The loud sounds of breaking glass and screaming wake me up from my sleep. Turning over, I check my phone and see that it's 5:00am. Sighing loudly, I get up and walk to the kitchen where I see Ariyah breaking plates, crying, and shakily violently.

"Girl, what the hell wrong with you?" I ask, folding my arms across my chest and leaning on the counter.

"Y-you!! That's whats wrong with me! You've ruined my fucking life!" She says as she throws a plate at my head, but I dodge it and watch it shatter.

"Ariyah, everything isn't about you!! I did what was best for me so get the fuck over it. You've already overstepped your boundaries by breaking windows at Milani's dance studio and putting shit on the wall. You lucky Ian let her beat yo ass."

"Fuck you and that raggedy ass bitch!! I'll take her ass to court if she touches me." She says before cleaning up her mess and continuing to pack the dishes she bought.

"You can be pissed at me all you want, but leave her out of our shit. She's not the reason I broke up with you. I've been wanting to end it for a while, even before I knew her. We aren't compatible anymore, Ariyah. I still got love for you, but I can't spend the rest of my life with you."

Her eyes fill with tears as I try to console her, but she pushes me away. Damn, I guess I really did hurt her. I still don't feel bad though because it is what it is. Just as I'm about to walk back to the bedroom, there's a knock on my door.

"What the fuck you doing here?" I ask, looking back at Holloway.

"You mind if I come in so we can talk?"

"Yeah, I do. You can talk without coming in here."

Holloway laughs dryly at my seriousness. "So how much this house cost? It looks too expensive for a hood rat like you."

"Holloway, I swear to God, I'd beat the shit outta you if you wasn't a pig. Unless you got word about my bar, we ain't got shit to talk about. The price of my house is none of your damn business, hoe ass nigga."

"Watch your mouth, boy. Don't make me rough yo ass up again and actually, I do have word on it. We didn't find anything leading to you and Brandon so you're free to open up." He smirks. "I'll catch your ass one day. You better watch yo back."

Slamming the door in his face, I jog upstairs to my phone and immediately call Brandon; telling him to meet me at the bar. After taking a shower and getting dressed in a black and red Nike shirt, jeans, and white forces, Ariyah stops me as I'm headed out the door.
