Ch 2: The Guilt within

Sirius stopped walking when he saw Wood talking to Karri. His eyes glared at Wood.

"Alright what is now, Sirius?" James asked him to step in front of Sirius.

"That Wood." Sirius mumbled. "He keeps talking to Karri."

"And you're upset...Why?"

"Because...because..."

"Yeah thoughts so." James says. "Besides-"

Sirius grabbed James arm and dragged him away from his arm. Down the grill into the Forbidden Forest.

"Sirius-"

Sirius let's go and starts to pace.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" James asked. "You're acting weird. And that's saying something."

"I think I have a crush." Sirius mumbled. "A crush on her."

"Marlene?" James asked. "Or Karri?"

"Karri!" Sirius yelled. "Her, idiot."

James held his hands up.

"Sorry. Had to make sure."

"Sure of what?" Sirius asked, glaring at him.

James folded his arms.

"So, what are you going to do?"

"About what?"

"You're crush on Karri, idiot."

"Nothing."

"Nothing?!"

"What? Is that bad?"

"I have a crush on Evans, Sirius, you want to know what I did?"

"Kept flirting with her-"

"Yes but-"

"Get your point, James."

"I'm saying that maybe you should explore this new feeling of yours with Karri."

"Why would I do that?" Sirius asked, glaring at him. "She already has Wood at her feet."

James sighed. "So what are you going to do about it?"

Sirius's eyes light up. And James knew his plan.

"No." James pointing a finger at Sirius. "No. No. No. Do not even-"

Sirius took off back towards the castle. James sighed and followed. It didn't take long for Sirius to find Marlene.

"Sirius." James hissed. "Think before committing."

"Too late." Sirius looking over his shoulder at James. "The damage is about to be done. Marlene!"

Marlene's friends giggled when Sirius stopped a few feet from the group. Sirius waved her over. Marlene blushed as she walked over.

"Yes Sirius?" She asked.

A tint of flirting in her voice. Sirius smirked.

"You. Me. This Saturday. Kitchens during Dinner. Date."

The blush got deeper as the girl nodded. Sirius winked before leaving. James followed Sirius.

"You're going to regret doing that, Sirius." James says. "I can tell you right now, you're gonna regret it."

"SIRIUS!"

The boys stopped walking and turned to find Karri chasing after.
