Lola

I pulled my hand out of Bee's hand; we were far from the cafeteria now. I glanced at Chrissie, who was still on the verge of tears. I couldn't believe what had happened.

Everything had been fine and dandy, Chrissie was showing me around the school and then we headed to the cafeteria. She told me about the cliques and I just chuckled as she told me who to not mess with. Chrissie had sat down and no less than a second later, that Tammy girl had come over to bother her. I remembered Chrissie telling me not to mess with Tammy; the girl was terrified of the blonde bimbo, well black haired bimbo to be exact.

I know it's wrong of me to judge people off the bat, but something told me that this Tammy girl was a total slut. It wasn't the clothing the only thing making my slut-radar go off. No, it was also the way she carried herself. The way she walked had me rolling my eyes. It was as if my entire body rejected her even before I got to know her. I usually get this gut feeling about a person and at times I dismiss it and just get to know the person, but this time my gut feeling was right.

"Hey, Chrissie, how's my English paper coming along?" Tammy said, crossing her arms over her chest. I raised my brow but said nothing. I sat across from Chrissie and began eating my chocolate pudding. This school had some awesome lunch selections.

"I... I'm working on it, T-Tammy." Chrissie stuttered and avoided looking at the big boob black hair chick. I looked up to meet Tammy's eyes, our eyes locked for a second or two before she rolled her eyes and looked down at a trembling Chrissie.

"The paper is due tomorrow, just so you know." She curled a strand of hair around her pinky.

Chrissie gulped and remained quiet. I didn't, "Why don't you do your own paper?" Tammy looked at me as if I had just committed the biggest crime by talking to her without her permission.

She chuckled like she couldn't believe what I had said and placed a hand on her hip, turning her body completely in my direction. "Excuse me, who are you?"

Chrissie shook her bowed head telling me to drop it and just ignore what was happening.

"I'm Lola, the new student, and you?" I licked the spoon not even looking at her.

Tammy scoffed, "I'm going to act like I just didn't hear that."

I shrugged, "Whatever, so why don't you do your own homework? I'm sure Chrissie here has more important things to do than make sure you pass the class. I mean, can't you just do some favors for the teacher or something? My respects to you, by the way, must hurt being on your knees all day."

The table next to us gasped and some even laughed. Chrissie giggled quietly and Tammy looked like her head was about to pop. The girl was turning red with anger! I smirked nonetheless.

"You find that funny, Chrissie? I thought we were friends." Did she just ignore me?

Chrissie stopped giggling and the trembling started all over again, "We... we are?"

Tammy hugged Chrissie side ways. The contrast of bring pink and black was hurting my eyes. "Of course we are, silly." Chrissie looked back to see Tammy's face and smiled slightly.

"And as my friend, you should know your place, right?" Chrissie nodded and that's when I noticed what that movement in my peripheral vision was. Tammy had grabbed the sweet corn and mashed potatoes tray off the table and dumped it on Chrissie's head.

Everyone burst out laughing and Tammy tapped Chrissie's cheek with a finger, "I expect that paper tomorrow morning, understood?"

I felt it then, the rage Kevin had told me to try and control or else I would be in trouble.
