Kelly and I and I have 48 hours off because we had a 24-hour shift it had been a couple of hours since we left the firehouse  Adam called me at 9 am Kelly picked up the phone.
Prov Kelly
"Hello Adam," I said
"Is Teagan up?" Adam asked
"No, we had a 24-hour shift," I said 
"Can you wake her up I need to talk to her" Adam said
"No Adam," I said
"babe who on the" Teagan asked in a tired voice
"It Adam," I said
"He needs to talk to," I said handing the phone to her

Prov Teagan  
I grabbed the phone from Kelly
"Adam this better be important," I said
"Okay so I went into the break room to get coffee and Jay was sleeping on the couch. He was whining I woke him up and almost punched me Teg he said he was taking a nap but I just want to be sure he okay." Adam said
"Okay I'll be there," I said
"Thank you,"  Adam said before he hung up
 I got out of bed to get dressed
"Where are you going?" Kelly asked me
"I got to go check on Jay from what Adam told me it seems like he had a nightmare," I said
"Do want me to come with you?" Kelly asked
"No go back to bed," I said
I put on my gray sweatshirt  and my black legging and sneakers and grabbed my keys and kissed kelly goodbye I got to the district and saw Trudy
"Teagan you should be at sleeping Mucho said Squad kept getting called out," Trudy said
"Adam called me he said something going on with Jay," I said
"Okay I'll buzz you up Teagan," Trudy said
"Thank you," I said
I walked up the stair and saw Jay at his desk Jay made eye contact with me 
"Teagan what are you doing here you had a 24-hour shift," Jay said
"Jay I need to talk to you," I said
We walked over to the break room
"Jay did sleep here last night?" I asked
"Yes," He said
"Jay why?" I asked
"Nightmares Teg I was so tired last so decided to take a nap next thing I know I see Adam," Jay said
"Jay you are taking the rest of the day and are going to sleep in my guest bedroom," I said
"Teagan" Jay said
"Jay you have to sleep," I said
"Teagan im fine" Jay 
"Jay no you are not I will call Will Jay," I said
"Fine" Jay said
I knocked on Hanks door he told me to come in
"Teagan what can I do for you," He asked
"I'm going to take Jay," I said
"Okay make sure he sleeps," he said
"I will," I said before leaving the room
"Jay lets go," I said
"Okay," He said
Once at mine and Kelly apartment Jay and I got out of the truck and walked up to the apartment when we walked in Kelly was sitting on the couch looking at his phone
"Jays going to sleep here for a bit so he can get actual sleep," I said
"Okay," Kelly said
"Jay give me your phone," I said
"Why," He asked
"Because you need to get sleep and phone will keep you wake," I said
"Fine mom" Jay said
"Jay Halstead stop being a baby," I said
After a bit of arguing Jay finally gave me his phone and went to the guest room after that, I sat down next to Kelly and put my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes and went back to sleep Kelly carried me to the bedroom and sat with me  a couple of hours later I woke and went to check on Jay when in he was having a nightmare  
"Jay hey it okay it okay," I said 
Jay woke up
"I thought I was," Jay said 
"I know Jay I know but you're not," I said reassuringly
After a few minutes, Jay went back to sleep
"Hey his okay" Kelly asked me 
"Yeah," I said
"Hey, you're a good sister," Kelly said to me
"I'm just trying to be there for him," I said
"Well you're doing a good job," Kelly said
A couple of hours later Jay woke up and was ready to go home so I took him once we got to his apartment 
"Jay remember if you need someone to talk to you call me," I said before he got out
"I know Teagan," He said
"bye, Jay," I said
"Bye Teg," he said
 I drove back to the apartment when got back I sat next to kelly on the couch he put his arm around me I lied my head on his shoulder 
"Hey are okay," Kelly asked
"Yeah I guess sometimes I just worry about Jay," I said
" Do want to tell me why?" Kelly asked 
"It just ever since he got back Will was in New York I was here as much as could be but at the same time I wasn't  I was half here half in Seattle I wasn't here to help him and sometimes I worry about him," I said 
"Teagan I'm sorry," Kelly said
A few weeks later
I was sitting in at the squad table trying to get away from Hermen and Mucho arguing which they did once in a blue moon but they had been arguing for almost two weeks and I was already arguing with Will I was pulled out of my thought when I head dispatch go for 61 not even two minutes after they left I got a call Hailey
"Hey Hailey," I said in two the phone  
"Teagan it Jay it bad Teg," she said
"Hailey are they take him med," I asked
"Yeah once the ambo get here," She said
"Hailey I'll meet you guys there," I said before hanging
