A/N: Before I say anything else, I'd first like to personally thank ALL of y'all. Y'all are honsetly such a big help. Whenever I'm stuck, or in a hard place in this story, y'all always hit me with support. I appreciate that. I was struggling to the fullest in my attempts of finding a stage name for Camille, so I decided to come to y'all. And wow. I don't think that I'd really realized how many people were following this story. The number of comments I recieve is outrageous. And I'm so thankful. Thank you all for your suggestions. Y'all won't believe me when I say that your help made it so hard lol. There were so many good names to choose from that I had to make a list and eliminate one, by one. But I feel as though I picked the perfect name, with all of y'alls help. SO please don't be upset if I didn't use your name, becuase I'm almost positive I probably debated it lol. Also, what's up with these niggas tryin' Aug lately? Y'all heard about that club incident? With the promoter? That was a hot ass mess. Aug threatenin' people with family reunion chairs and shit. Tavis A-town stompin' niggas. Big ass niggas swingin' on August. Fix it, Jesus.

Anyway, chapter's here.

CAMILLE

I'd gotten both my hair, and make-up, touched up, and was currently awaiting my performance. Talking to August had caused about a good hour to go by, and I hadnt realized how quickly it'd disappeared. The nerves were finally beginning to hit me, and I was trying my best to retain the upbeat attitude I'd had about this event. I had no idea how the crowd would react, or if they would even react at all. And although I was nervous, the sudden thought sent a certain rush through my body.

Along with the thought that August would be somewhere in that crowd, watching me behind those shades. That alone, was enough to make me shiver in anticipation.

As I sipped my water, my thoughts ran back to the on-going situation between August and his brother. I was nervous about that, too. I knew nothing about Travis, besides his name, and the fact that he'd left home to pursue an acting career. But something told me that much like August, there was much more to him than what met the eye. He seemed like he would never hurt August, or his family intentionally.

Looking up, I screwed the cap back onto my water bottle as there was a slight knock on my dressing room door as Alonzo and Val walked in, followed by Trinity and Eve.

I already knew that the four of them together would be nothing less of a hot mess.

"Hey, boo. What you in here sitting in the dark for? You go on in less than thirty minutes."

I took a deep breath, tightning the strings of my robe. What lay beneath it was a little less than clothing.

"It's finally startin' to hit me. All those people...." My voice trailed off and I blinked a couple of times.

"Oh, hell no. Don't tell me that after all this, you're finna back out-"

I scrunched my face up, shaking my head, and causing for my slightly curled hair to fall over my face. I swept a few strands back, standing. "Not at all. It's just finally hittin' me, is all."

I wouldn't back out of performing for any reason. I had been preparing for what seemed like forever, and it wasn't about to go to waste over a few nervous feelings.

Alonzo side-eyed me. "Just breathe, girl. It's not even that many people out there."

I smacked my lips, looking at him, and he sighed. "Alright, I'm lyin'. Girl, it's a full house."

Eve grabbed my shoulders, looking me in the eye as Trinity and Val fluffed out my hair. "But none of that matters, mami. Nobody's here to see you fail. I have faith in you. We all do."
