                       Gaurdian - Chapter 10 - Mistakes

                                       Aria's POV.

I loved waking up on a Saturday morning with the sun’s rays, shinning on my face. I turn to my side to get a little more comfortable, but I run into Yasmen’s legs.

“Ahh, Yasmen how in the world did you get upside down?” I grumble to myself; not really knowing if I woke her up. She spent the night over at my house again, since we both didn’t want the fun to end. We were goofing around, prank calling random people, watching movies, and going through all the items of clothing we bought that day. At the end of the day we were so pooped that we just collapsed on the bed and fell asleep. She must have collapsed backwards. I spent most of the day trying to avoid anything that would connect something to Liam, so Yasmen wouldn’t bring him up. She tried forcing me to tell her everything and towards the end of the day I felt bad, so I told her about my plans for today. That’s probably another reason why she spent the night over again. I bet she wants to wait to help me get ready, tell Liam comes. Ugh, this was going to be a very long day too.

“Mmm… you didn’t have to hit me,” Yasmen grumbles back. Someone didn’t have a good night sleep last night. We didn’t even stay up late. It was probably around midnight and we crashed, since we woke up early on Friday, for school that day.

“Suck it up you baby, come on get up; I’m starving,” I say yanking the cover to reveal her head that was hanging off the bottom of my bed. If only I had my camera; that would be something to keep. She wasn’t replaying so I got out of bed and went into my en-suite. I jumped into the shower and finished about ten minutes later. If Yasmen wasn’t here, banging on my door for me to hurry up, it probably would have taken me half an hour to finish. Yes, I love hot showers; the aroma from all the different types of soaps relaxes me.

I wrapped a towel around myself and opened a door, to face a very anxious Yasmen.

“Move, move, I need to use the bathroom.” She says, pushing me to the side and slamming the door behind her.

“You know there are like, four other bathrooms in the house you could have used, right?” I ask stepping into my closet to grab some undies and a bra.

“I’m too lazy to get out of bed and walk down the hall,” I barely hear her reply through the door.

“Or maybe you’re just too difficult,” I yell a little louder making sure she hears me clearly. I hear her laugh to herself through the door.

“That, may be true, but you gotta love me,” she reply’s back. I hear water start to run again, so I figured she was in the shower by now.

I grab a pair of light washed out, jeggings and a simple white tank top; can’t forget the socks too. I’m pretty sure Yasmen will just grab something from the closet, so I didn’t bother getting something for her to wear. We were so close that she practically lived at my house.

I was just about to leave the room, but I heard my cell phone ring. I quickly unplug it from the charger on the counter. The caller idea was unknown. I began to panic. Was it the same guy that called before? I hadn’t gotten much sleep form the last call I received, I couldn’t imagine what I would do if it was him again. I still wasn’t sure if it was all a joke, but I wasn’t going to let it go.

“Hello,” My voice sounding weak through the line. I didn’t want to sound afraid or terrified, but I couldn’t keep the stress from my voice.

“Hi, this is Liam in case you’re wondering,” he says to me. Hearing his voice immediately calms me on the spot. I never felt so relieved in my life before. I thought I would lose all sanity if it were that creeper.
