Ambush

The sleeping arrangements had been decided.

Desmond and Altair share the  room upstairs next to yours and your twin's room.

Edward and Haytham will share 

Connor thought it weird so he chose the room in the basement

That left Jacob and Shay their own rooms alone.

Arno would share with Ezio but he insisted on sleeping the first night back in your room.

It was the following morning.

"Psst"

"Psst (name) "

You peeked an eye at your sister

"C'mon get up its important" she whispered

I snuck from the bed, Arno cuddled your pillow which was rather funny.

You tiptoed down the stairs and out the back door.

"Now what did you want?" you asked rubbing your eyes

"Come on we're gonna for a walk while they're asleep" she told you
You groaned "I just woke up I don't even have shoes"

"Stop being a baby "

You followed her with a hmph

The two of you walked the old path to the creek. Your twin stepped into the knee deep water before turning back to you

"Where are we going" you asked her

"The treehouse" she answered

You stepped into the creek knowing you had to follow it to the tree house.

"Ill be surprised if that thing is still there"

You were very surprised actually. The tree house was still there, way up in the tallest pine tree you'd found as kids.

"The zipline is still there!" your sister pointed at another tree connected to the pine by a simple wire

She started climbing up the tree than turned back to you

"Beat you to the top?"

You smiled and looked opposite of where your sister was. Another pine tree that could be climbed and you could jump to the tree house platform.

You ran for the tree, trying to ignore the pine needles on the ground.

You climbed fast nearly out of breath at the top.

It was about an eight foot gap but you could clear it, it wasnt that far.

You dove across, your top half making it but you started sliding towards the edge.

Your twin had grabbed your hands as she plopped to the ground and pulled you up.

"You really are out of practice, I hope you can throw these better than you can throw yourself"

She picked up a water balloon from a big bucket full of them.

"Are you serious?"

She shook her head yes in excitement

"You're telling me that not once its crossed your mind to try and ambush them?" she held up the water balloon

"Why would you want to do that?"

The two of you jerked with surprise as you peeked over the wall.

You could help but smile at the templar below.

"Here catch this" your twin tossed a balloon down and Shay attempted to catch it. The balloon busted leaving his arms and part of his shirt soaked.

"HA HA HA" your twin teased

Shays face stayed blank as he said nothing looking at the popped balloon on the ground.

Your twin threw another and smoked Shay in the shoulder, officially drenching him

The two of you burst into laughter

Shay smiled wickedly "now its my turn to get you wet correct?"

Your mouth fell open as your twin laughed.

"Get up here Irish boy before the others find us" 

He smiled and ran for the tree, soon enough the three of you were sitting on the platform hiding behind the wall.

"(Name)!"

You could hear one of them calling in the distance.

Your twin told you "you need to scream like your dying"

"What?"

Shay replied "you scream, theyll panic"

Your twin smiled at Shay "it really is a shame you joined Haytham"

You tolled your eyes "you like Haytham"

She spoke through her teeth

"no i don't"

"(Name)!"

"That was Ezio" you said

"Come on scream!"

"You scream"

Your twins face fell to a blank stare. "You suck"

She stood up and screamed a short but loud squeal then ducked back down.

You could hear footsteps getting closer, your twin taking a balloon and handing it to Shay. Him popping it over her back.

She whisper yelled "really?"

He whispered back "I told you I'd get you wet too"

She put her fist between them
"I will hit you"

He flicked his eyebrows at her

You rolled your eyes, seeing Edward through the wood slats on the wall.

You threw your balloon successfully nailing him in the neck as you ducked back down

"Oi! Who the fuck threw that?"

You covered your mouth to keep from laughing

"Did you find them?" Ezio was soon down there too as well as Desmond and Haytham

"I got Haytham " whispered Shay as your twin crawled to the otherside for a new front

Shay hit Haytham in the back and your sister hit Edward again

You got Ezio in the shoulder as he turned around to look up at you

Your twin threw another at Connor who popped the balloon in an attempt to catch it.

Soon enough you were out of balloons.

"How did Shay end up on your team?" Connor asked as the three of you climbed back down

"He can't help but follow me around" you teased

"What happened to you?" Edward asked your sister pointing at her wet hair and back
She glared at Shay "him"

"I did warn you fair and square."
Shay held his hands up

She groaned

You laughed and pointed "Shay got you wet in the tree house HA HA "
