You slowly opened your eyes seeing light shed through the curtains, your head was pounding and you felt sick to your stomach. You sat up and stood putting one hand on the wall for balance and the other on your pounding head while coughing.

You made your way downstairs having to stop in the middle due to being light headed. You staggered into the living room.

"Damn lass you don't look so good" Edward noticed first

"That's rude" Connor said as you sat in the empty lazy boy

"Will someone hand me that blanket please?" You pointed at the blanket on the couch where Ezio and Altair sat

"It's relatively warm in here" Altair said and stood up walking over to you.

He knelt down next to the lazy boy and put his hands on your cheeks and kissed your forehead.

"You're definitely running a fever" Altair said as Ezio brought you the blanket but Altair took it "you don't give a blanket to someone with a fever, it's better to freeze it out"

"Why do you have go be so mean" you groaned and coughed

"No I'm helping you" he said "and it would be best if you go lie back down so you don't get the rest of us sick"

With a sad sigh you got up and crawled up the stairs to your room.

"Bring me food and something to drink " you called

"Who?" You hear Altair answer

"I don't care who I just want food since I'm being held captive in my room!" You said and coughed getting under the covers

Shortly after Arno came in with a tray full of food.

You smiled and sat up, he sat next to you putting the tray in your lap

"Thanks doll" you said with a smile

"Altair said this is for your headache and this is for the cough" he said pointing at pills and a purple liquid in a cup

"You gathered all this by yourself?" You asked taking the medicine you were given

"No, Altair and Ezio did and I brought it to you because they don't want to get sick" he said and winked "but I'm not worried"

You opened a bag of chips and Arno put his hand on your knee "make sure to get some rest"

"Leaving already?" You asked

"Yes I am going back downstairs with the guys otherwise they might come up here thinking I'm taking advantage of you being dragged up or something"

"That escalated quickly" you said as he left then fell asleep

You woke up to Altair with a thermometer

You will quite dizzy but forced yourself up with help from Altair.

"You are still really warm so take your temperature to see what it actually is" Altair said and stuck the thermometer in your mouth

After a beep he took it and looked surprised at the numbers

"What is it?" You asked

"104.1 you need to cool off "

He leaned out the doorway "Ezio start a cold one"

Edward came upstairs "whats the matter"

"She just has a high fever us all she needs to sit in a cold bath" Altair said

"What? No I don't want to sit in a cold bath" you slurred still dizzy from the cough syrup

"You seem to be better at carrying her, so you can take her to the tub" Altair said patting him on the shoulder

A slight smirk came to Edward's face

"I don't want a cold bath it's going to be well.... Cold" you said

"Well your brain will fry if you keep a fever" he said picking you up "wow you're really red"

He took you down to the bathroom and you started to fight

"(Name) you have to unless you want to keep a fever" Edward stated

"I can just take off my blanket"you said trying to balance yourself while fighting to get away

Ezio reached out from the bathroom and took your hands and spun you around "you need to cool off"

"It's so cold though" you groaned pointing at the tub

"Move I'll take care of it since none of you can do a simple job" Altair pushed Ezio and Edward out and shut the door and locked it then turned to you

"Please don't make me take a cold bath" you begged

"At least I'm not making you get naked.. But it wouldn't be the first time right?" He joked

"You haven't seen me naked and I'm not taking a cold bath" you stated

He smirked and stepped in closer and brushed your hair from your face. Then suddenly removed his robes leaving only his legs covered.

"What are you doing?" You asked

He put his hands on your waist "giving you a bath" then he scooped you up and stepped into the tub and knelt down feeling the cold water

You screamed and wrapped your arms tighter around him

"ITS COLD!!!! LET ME GO!!" you screamed and there was a knock at the door

"Is everything okay?" You could hear Arno behind the door

"It's fine" Altair ensured as he sat in the freezing water holding you

"I'm leaning back" he said with a wicked grin

"No no no..." you screamed as the cold water enveloped your body

You leaned against his chest shaking from the cold water. "You're so mean"

"Yeah I know but I'm doing this for your own good. " he said

"Why get in the tub with me?" You asked

"So you can't complain because I'm in the cold water with you" he stated

"I can still complain... I'm just not going to, although this feels a little awkward..." You went on still leaning against his bare chest

"As long as your brain doesn't fry being awkward doesn't matter to me" he stated
