Your best friend showed up after two days of being missing.

"Where were you guys?" Altair questioned

Your best friend smiled "well, Remember that night the AC went out?"

"Yes, we had to sleep on the floor..." Arno complained

"I didn't have to" Ezio said and grinned winking at you

Altair wrapped both his arms around you in the recliner and glared.

"Anyways!" Your best friend interrupted "We woke up the next morning to being locked out of the house, so we went and got a hotel room.. and ended up staying there"

"Nicely done there grandson" Edward high-fives Connor

You roll your eyes and feel someone grab your hand

Your bestie demands "follow me I need to talk to you"

You smile as she pulls you both run outside to the gym.

"So talk to me" you say and walk on the treadmill

"It's about Connor" she says

"Of course it is" you reply

"Would it be a waste of time telling Connor how I feel?" She asked "I mean seeing as how they all will eventually return to their own time"

You let out a big sigh "yeah... I don't know sis, that's a rather complicated question" you reply

"Maybe I shouldn't" she said and looked at the ground

"Well, I mean I don't see what it would hurt?" You say to her "something could be worked out I think"

A huge smile flashed over your best friend's face.

"So what about you? Hows it been the passed couple days?" She asked and you groaned

"I wrestled Edward in the mud" you said and she laughed

"He's such a child.. Still cute though"

You smiled and laughed "they all are"

"And I'm pretty sure they all know it" she stated

"Oh of course they do." You agreed and stepped off the treadmill "is that all you wanted?"

"Yep" she said with a friend "wanna go back to the house?"

"Nah, I'm in the mood for margaritas" you say and she grins

"Sounds like a plan"

The two of you went to a bar and enjoyed a few drinks.... And a few more. Getting a cab home was the only option.

The two of you stumbled into the house giggling and shushing eachother.

"What the hell?"

Edward sat up from the couch as well as the others

Your bestie was leaned on the wall while you laughed and helped her stand while you stayed balanced.

"Are you two drunk?" Arno asked while Ezio chuckled

You and (bf/n) looked at eachother then back to the guys

"We may have had a... Couple drinks." You said and tried to hang your coat on the rack but it fell to the floor.

"How'd you get home?" Altair asked as Edward, Ezio and Connor walked over to you two

"A taxi DUH" your best friend answered

You looked at Edward and wrapped your arms around his neck and smiled then slurred "hi honey"

Connor took her hand "maybe you should go lie down"

Edward laughed "honey?"

"Are you going with me?" She asked and a smirk slightly showed on his face

"I suppose" he replied and escorted her to her room

"Yes (bf/n) that's a great idea- EDWARD, I need assistance" you slurred

He chuckled and grabbed your shoulders and lead you into the living room.

"Who wants to deal with her?" Edward asked

"No way" Arno said holding his hands up

"I'll be happy to take her" Ezio said

"No" Altair and Edward said in sync

"I'll take her" Edward said and started to lead you up the stairs

"Don't try anything pirate" you heard Altair and Arno say downstairs

"Oh shut up" Edward said and you turned around to face him, standing a stair up above him when you wrapped your arms around his neck

"What do you think you're doing?" He asked quietly

Your drunken thoughts drove you to press your lips to his. But oddly he grabbed your waist and pushed you just far enough to break the kiss.

"(Name) you're drunk. Try this when your sober" he said as he pushed you up the stairs

"What if I wanted you to?" You asked

"Like I said love your drunk and you don't know what you want" he said

"Blah blah blah" you said and he chuckled

"See you in the morning " he told you and kissed your head
