Rainbow

The expanse of shimmering colors,

So delicate, after a rainstorm.

There for a second, then gone.

The wide range of colors used by an artist,

To paint an amazing work of art.

But these are the visible and tangible rainbows.

There are some that are not seen.

The rainbows that are our thoughts and feelings.

Many layers, different shades.

Not easily seen, but always there.

And when we show out personalities

It is as if we are painting that canvas,

Creating a work of art, a portrait,

And each one is different.

Showing who we truly are.
