Summer Nights

I remember those warm nights,

A cool breeze of mystery in the air.

The sounds and smells of summer,

So vivid to me.

Sitting in the cool grass under the glimmering moon,

Breeze blowing through my hair.

I sat there, laughing and talking with friends or family,

About the day’s events or plans for the future days.

The peace, the joy, my most wonderful memories.

These carefree moments,

Moments I enjoy remembering.

And when I think of these,

I can always feel the emotions, smell the smells,

No matter how much time has passed.

It will always be this way,

Nothing can change the memories.

Feelings carved into my mind,

Forever.
