Summer

School is finally out!

Switch from work to play.

Everyone sleeps late, without a doubt,

Each day is a great day.

Relaxing at home, spending time on the beach,

Seeing your family and friends.

No one has to work or teach,

This summer should never end.

Popsicles and cold ice cream,

The tasty treats of summer.

The children laugh and play and scream,

This will not be a bummer!

Basking in the summer heat,

I know this summer can’t be beat!
