You know what kills me about James?
Everyone is all like "James faced the Dark Lord wandless because he thought he could take him for Lily and Harry omg",
When really, I think James knew all.along he wouldn't make it. He was offering himself up ad a distraction to hive his wife and son time to escape knowing he'd die in the process.
And that is in a nutshell, why I will take not hatin' on James Potter. Because if that man wasn't the absolute embodiment of bravery and unconditional love, then I don't even know.
