Can you imagine Remus's reaction when Hagrid asked him for pictures of James and Lily? Can you imagine how hard it must have been to dig through his old photographs, which he probably wore out after the first few years after their deaths, but hadn't been touched for several years since? Can you imagine him breaking down, remembering his Hogwarts days with his bestfriends, the only people to accept him, the only people he trusted, remembering that they're all dead and gone and that he's left alone, just as he always knew he'd be?
Because I can and I am very upset.
