Secret Guardian?

Rose just finishes our work. She take off her apron and take her backpack. Lisa wrapped her arms around her.

"Home time!!!" Lisa yelled.

"I'm so tired." groaning Momo. Rose just shake her heads, seeing her friends like that.

"Well, see you guys tomorrow." Momo stated. Lisa yawned and nod.

"Yup. Bye guys!!!" Lisa waved a goodbye. Rose waved with Momo.

"Bye!!" They both said.

Lisa is not in the same way with them to go home. Momo and Rose have a same path to go home. As Rose walk home, she can feel cold wind hitting her.

"It so cold..." Rose muttered.

"Yup. It is. Even we wearing coat, it still cold." Momo agreed.

Rose nod. Momo who keep glance at Rose, wondering that she should tell her or not. Rose seem notice it so she ask her.

"Is something on my face?" Rose asks.

"Yes. It pretty." Momo joked. Rose chuckle.

"I think that line is for a man who flirty." told Rose. Momo laughed and put her hands inside her pocket.

"I'm just saying it. Anyway, I have something to tell you." told Momo.

"What is it?" Rose asks.

"I saw your father yesterday. When I about to get in, I saw him with his friend." Momo informed.

Rose smiled. She felt nothing. Even her step-father have abused her, she still love him. She sigh.

"Let it be, Momo. He probably gambling again. " said Rose.

"But, don't you think you should stop him? I mean... you working so hard and he keep ask for money." Momo blurted it out.

"Nothing I can do. No miracle will hit me." Rose sigh. Momo just staring at her.

Even she just met Rose this year, she always care for her. Rose's a fragile, innocent and always act strong. Momo and Lisa always look after her. They know she having a hard time to raise herself.

Without they knowing, they have to seperated.
"Well, I'm sorry for asking your personal thing." Momo apologized. Rose shake her head.

"It okay. Anyway, see you tomorrow." told Rose. Momo nod and waves goodbye at her. 

Rose sigh heavily. Suddenly, her phone vibrate. She take it out and it was that unknown number again.

Who is this person!?

Rose ignore it and walk home. She use shortcut, it was alley. It dark and quiet. Rose use to it already. While she walking, she can feel someone following her.

She slow her steps as she felt uneasy. She stop and look behind. No one there.

I'm too tired. Maybe I imagined something.

Rose shrugged her shoulder. She continue walking and her phone vibrate again. She take it out and it was that...unknown number again. Rose eyes widen as she read the text.

Don't use dark alley to go home. It dangerous.- unknown number

Rose feel her heart beating so fast. She look back like in scary movie. She breathing heavily.

"I-Is someone t-there??" Rose call.

She can be brave sometimes. Just sometimes. She wait for response but none. Then-

THUD!!!

Rose yelling and run for her life. She run as fast as she can without...look back or give any glance. Soon she arrive, she slammed the door closed.

"What's wrong with you?"

She flinched and turn around. Her step father standing there with messy hair. Obviously, he just finish his fun things.

"Um...nothing. Run for my healthy." Rose answered. Her father narrowed his eyes.

"Whatever. When is your pay day? " her father asks. Without asking a caring question.

"Uhh...tomorrow I guess." Rose answered. She hold her clothes tightly.

"Good. Give me all your money tomorrow." her father order. Rose sigh.

She look down. She remember what Momo said to her.

"A-Appa...why you just don't stop gambling?" Rose asks. Her voice shaking and it sign that she scared.

Her father turn his back and look at her.
"I'm sorry what?" he asks.

"Well...if you stop gambling, your life will be better than this." told Rose.

Her father scoffed. He walking toward her and hold her cheeks. His touch make Rose shaking in fear.

"Can you repeat it again, honey?" he asks. Rose bite her lips and keep silence.

"Did you just say my life is cruel right now?" he asks. Rose shaking her heads with tears run down on her face.

She scared. Really scared. She really wish she can fight back but look at her now. She just like a baby.

"Good. I don't want to hear anything like that from you again. ARE YOU UNDERSTAND!!??" he yelled the last one.

Rose flinched and nod. He smirked and walked away. Soon he walked away, Rose run upstairs and lock tbe door. She breathing heavily, she alide againts the door until she sit.

She hugged her knees and cry. She scared. Trauma and anything. But as a daughter, she love her father. Her phone vibrate.

You already home? -unknown number

She wiped her tears. She sit on her bed. She wondering if she should replied back or not. While thinking that, another messages popped out.

You seen my message but didn't replied it. It okay, I understand why.-
unknown number.

Rose furrowed her eyebrows. She decide to replied it.

Who are you?- Rose

Is it matter?- unknown number

Yes, because you scared me.- Rose

Don't worried. I'm not a bad person.- unknown number.

Then, tell me who you are.- Rose

Hahaha, clever. Well, just call me..your secret guardian.- unknown number.

Okay...are you following me around?- Rose

I can't tell you that baby.- unknown number

Rose lost for awhile when 'secret guardian' call her baby. It 99% can be a guy.  Rose stop text him back after save his name as 'secret guardian'.

Even it was creepy for her, she just accept it. She thought it was prank so she ignore it.

"Secret guardian? Pfft, it just a prank, Rose." Rose told herself. She do her night routine.
