Yuko, Naruto's Civilian Sister? (Old version/original)

Satsuki's Lullaby

Sorry it took awhile and its kind of short but I simply am up to my neck in reports I need to do at school. Well that and I had a bit of writers block but I'm good now.

Okay I hope you enjoy this short chapter and please remember I don't own Naruto only my OCs besides if I did own Naruto Neji would still be alive.

+Satsuki P.O.V.+

After a heavy beating from little miss mum. Ken, Daichi, and me fixed the wall only to come in and have porridge on the table waiting for us. 

"She's still upset with us isn't she" Daichi says while crying

"Well at least she gave us porridge this time and not stale bread like that other time" Ken says with a sigh

"You know how she gets when you threaten her brother yet you all insist on doing so" Ryuu scolds us with an irritated look.

"Where is my little miss mum?" I ask after I finished the bland porridge that is most definitely not made by Yuko.

"She went to make sure that no one woke up in the commotion, and since I know your going to go up and see her tell her we will be leaving and will stay at the usual place" Ryuu says. 

"fine......oh don't come over tomorrow I'm taking her on a girls day out." I tell them as I start heading to where I know Yuko is

I watch as Yuko tucks Naruto in.

The look on her face when she looks at him is pure adoration. That kid will never understand how lucky he is to have Yuko's trust, love, and loyalty.

"I suppose the others have left?" Yuko's softly whispers to me as she exits Naruto's room

"Yeah they went to stay at the usual place" I whisper back to her in a lazy fashion

"And you are here for the same reason as always" she says with a gentle smile 

"When I sleep next to you I don't ever get any nightmares" I quietly tell her

"Okay then come on. We need to use the guest room since I have the kids sleeping in my bed" she says while heading to said room

She pulls the covers down and I go and lay in the bed. After making sure I have enough pillows she lies down next to me and lets me cuddle up against her.

"Sing" I ask

She smiles to me as I lay my head against her chest listening to her calm heart beat then starts to sing my lullaby.

"Lay down your head and I'll sing you a lullaby
Back to the years of loo-li lai-lay
And I'll sing you to sleep and I'll sing you tomorrow
Bless you with love for the road that you go

May you sail far to the far fields of fortune
With diamonds and pearls at your head and your feet
And may you need never to banish misfortune
May you find kindness in all that you meet

May there always be angels to watch over you
To guide you each step of the way
To guard you and keep you safe from all harm

+Yuko P.O.V.+

After I finish singing Satsuki's favorite lullaby I look to see her quietly sleeping.

Although she may love her sleep she is always plagued by nightmares and is never able to get a good night sleep. She claims that she can only get a good nights sleep by my side.

Not that I mind she is after all one of my important people even when she does do some stupid stuff with the two idiots.

But I guess those idiots are okay as well.

My teammates are some of my precious people.

But not as precious as Naruto.
