Jughead was nervous. He'd never really felt anxious before. He had no idea what any of them knew about him, he just about knew their names. Betty's hand wrapped around his as she tugged him behind her towards the door, whilst Kevin grabbed a few drinks. She knocked on the door, impatiently waiting to see her friends face again.

The door swung open in an instant and Betty let go of Jughead's hand to swing her arms around the girl's neck. "Sammy!" Betty beamed, pulling the brunette closer, even though they were already hugging. "Hey! We've got a lot to catch up on," Sammy laughed. Betty finally let go of the girl and walked inside with Jughead behind her. "You must be the famous Jughead I heard about everyday. Nice to meet you, I'm Sammy but you can call me Sam." The girl smiled holding out her hand for jughead to shake, which he did. "And you're the one who's amazing at cooking." Jughead smiled. Sammy nodded with a laugh before turning back around and welcoming Kevin in. "So you talked about me everyday, huh." Jughead smirked resting his arm around her shoulder. "Shut it, dork. Pretty sure I remember V telling me how you grew a stubbly beard because you were too sad to leave your sofa." Betty laughed, she led them towards the sofa. "Hey! You broke my heart, of course I was sad. Do you not think I'd suit a beard and moustache?" He asked. Betty rolled her eyes. She pulled him closer to the couch where her friends were all sitting. "Hey guys! This is Jughead. Jughead thats Joey. Katie. Shaun. Finn. And Liam." Betty smiled, pointing to each one of the individuals. They all greeted jughead with a grin and a hello as he sat down onto the couch, closest to the arm rest. Betty dropped down next to him slightly sitting on his lap.

"So Jug..head, how'd you and Betty meet?" The Liam boy asked with his arms crossed tightly over his chest. Jughead smirked looking at Betty as she laughed. "A police station. She sassed me off." He said casually. Everyone furrowed their eyebrows with wide eyes. "It was not like that," Betty laughed, looking at him with a dramatic expression. "You were being an Asshat, like always." Everyone in the room laughed and Jughead shook his head, chuckling too. "You love me though." Jughead smiled, kissing her temple and wrapped his arm around her waist. "I can't disagree with that." Betty giggled, kissing Jughead's cheek twice.

An hour or so later Jughead was in the kitchen with Sammy. She was teaching him how to cook her special meat pizza. "So Sam, how was Betty whilst she lived here? People keep telling me she was sad but that can't be just it." Jughead asked, sitting on the counter, whilst the brunette scribbled down all the things he would need for the pizza on a note. "Is that code for did she have a boyfriend?" Sam laughed as she placed the pen back into a pot and handed him the note, which he slid into his pocket. "Maybe." Jughead smirked. He did want to know if she did have a relationship but he was also curious about how she was doing. "She didn't, she went on dates and boys would flirt with her but she wasn't interested. She talked highly of you all the time. She definitely has loved you for a long time now," Sammy smiled as the alarm went off. She hit the snooze button and tugged a pair of burnt oven muffins on before pulling the boiling hot tray out that had a cooked pizza sizzling on top of it. "Between you and me, Liam had his eye on Betty when she lived here so just watch out for him." She whispered. Jughead frowned and looked over his shoulder at the group of people who were laughing and drinking. "There's nothing to worry about, Betty wouldn't let him do anything, she could break his fingers if she felt like it." Jughead said and looked back over at Sammy.

He jumped off the counter and placed the marble china plates out onto the table whilst Sammy cut the pizza up and placed the slices on a huge serving dish. Jughead placed some sauces on the table before walking over to everyone else and caressed Betty's shoulder. She looked up at him with a smile and snuggled into his side. "The food's ready." Sam yelled from the dining table where she had placed the tray of stacked food and took a seat at the end of the table. Betty held her arm around Jughead's torso as they made there way over to Sammy. She sat down next to Jughead who had already stacked two slices of pizza on his plate. "Thank you for the food, Sam. I'm sure Jughead can't wait to eat it." Betty laughed. Jughead nodded in agreement and kissed her temple before taking a huge bite from a slice of pizza and humming in delight.

Betty was stuffed after only two and a half slices whereas Jughead managed to scoff down six and some fries. "Slow down. I don't want you throwing up later." Betty said, rubbing her hand on his shoulder. "Baby I'm fine. I've eaten a lot more before." Jughead chuckled and took the crust from Betty's plate and bit into it. She rested her head against his shoulder and took small sips from her glass. "You guys are so cute." One of the girls, Katie, smiled and placed her wine glass down. Jughead had a goofy smile across his face and kissed Betty's hair. "Really? I thought we were that annoying couple who are always saying cheesy things and being touchy with each other." Betty giggled and placed her hand on Jughead's knee. "We are, they've just only seen us together today, if you were to ask Toni or Veronica they would agree with you." Jughead said, still eating the crust. Kevin nodded, agreeing with what the two were saying as he chugged down his beer. "Slow down there Kev, you're our ride home." Betty laughed and rubbed his shoulder as he was sitting next to her. "One of you can drive instead of me having to listen to you guys make out whilst I drive." Kevin smirked and carried on drinking it. Jughead laughed whilst Betty flashed red and hit Kevin's shoulder. "We wouldn't do that." Betty said, still a dark shade of red. "I'll drive, you guys drink whatever you want." Jughead smiled and pulled his arm round Betty's shoulder. "Thank you, Jughead," Kevin smiled and refilled his glass. "Husband material right here." He whispered in Betty's ear but still loud enough for everyone to hear. Betty looked up at Jughead, blushing, as he kissed her forehead. "I want an invite to your wedding when it happens." Sammy chirped, smirking at Betty. Betty cursed underneath her breath, "Guys we're not getting married." She sighed. Jughead pouted and looked down at her, "we're not?" He laughed, earning an eye roll from her. "You guys having matching jackets, that screams soulmates." Katie smiled. The others were just sitting there, maybe feeling a bit uncomfortable about the marriage talk. "You guys are annoying." Betty sighed and picked her glass back up and gulped the rest of it down.
