A week later

Betty's POV

It had been a week since I had left the hospital and my stitches were practically fully healed. I didn't feel any pain anymore the only change was the cut depth going across my pale skin.

Kevin was leaving soon, he was going back to Canada in three days. Whilst I was beginning to get glum that Kevin was going I was also beginning to get really irritated by Jughead.

'I'm fine, I'm just going to Veronica's' I exhaled as I grabbed my serpent jacket and put it on. 'I'll drive you' jughead suggested grabbing his keys and stood up from his office desk. 'No Jug, I'm going alone' I said, 'I need to make sure your alright' he said holding onto my hand. 'I feel more like your child then your girlfriend' I sighed. 'I just want to keep you safe' 'I swear to god Jughead. I'm just going to go and I'll text you when I'm there' I said shaking my head and walking out. 'But-' he started but I closed the door and walked off outside the bar. I got onto my motorcycle and drove off.

Once I got there I walked into Veronica's house and was greeted by her smiling. 'Hey, I feel like we haven't caught up in forever even though I saw you a few days ago' she said. 'Do you want to go pops?' I asked as I hugged her, she agreed and we took her car there and ordered burgers and milkshakes. I texted jug just so he doesn't start freaking out .

Betty: I'm with Veronica at pops so you don't have to worry <3

Jughead: ok just call me if you need me <3

'So how have you been V' I said as I sipped my vanilla milkshake. 'Great actually, me and Archie are back together and as great as ever, I'm really happy that me and you are speaking more and not just through getting you out of a cell, and Kevin's still got three days here' she beamed. 'I haven't went to the police station in ages, I'm a changed women' I said. 'Try keep it that way, anyway how are you' she said biting into her burger. 'Could be better, I mean at least my cuts are healed, But I'm going to miss Kevin and jug still won't leave me to have my own time. He probably chipped me for all I know' I laughed. 'Maybe it's his way of showing he loves you and doesn't want you to get hurt' she shrugged. 'I'm a big girl, I don't need him to keep me safe' I said. 'Speak to him' 'I try but I don't think he's taking it in that I'm strong and not a damsel in distress, I need a break from this place' I huffed.
Veronica looked at me with a face that showed she was thinking until she said 'how about you go with Kevin? Just for a bit or however long you want.' Believe it or not I was considering it but then I don't think I could handle not seeing everyone at least once a week. 'I don't know Ronnie. Isn't that cruel? I don't want to hurt Jughead I just need a break' I sighed. 'It's not B, you need to start considering your happiness, if Jughead really likes you he'll be fine' she smiled and in that moment I realized that she was right, I focus so much on others and I need to start doing thing for me. I gave her a faint smile in response, after a few seconds of silence we began to talk about the party we were throwing for Kevin at the Whyte Wyrm.

A few hours later

Me and Veronica decided that we wanted Kevin's party to be extra special so we decided to go shopping for new outfits and decorations.

Veronica's POV

When we entered the mall I could see the joy in Betty's face that we were shopping just us two, like the old days. 'So decoration shop first' I said, I had an idea of getting a custom banner saying, we'll miss you Kevin.

Once we were at the shop we chose a red banner and got it customized, and we also got a few other things. We had payed for it and been told to collect it in two hours, which was great because we wanted to go and get some new clothes.
We headed straight to one of our favorite shops and began searching for the most perfect outfits.

I chose an elegant black laced dress with a white collar and of course my pearls. Betty found a blue jean jacket with a blue plaid skirt and a black stringed strap top.

After the two hours we headed back to the decorating shop laughing at the memories that Betty were sharing of when we came here as kids. 'Oh my god can you remember when we we brought heelies as kids and tried them out in the center of the mall and fell into the huge fountain in the middle' she said bursting into a laughing fit. 'Or the time we went shopping and you forgot to take of the hat and walked out and we were locked up in a cell for two hours' I said as I wiped the tears under my eyes that were caused from laughing too much.

Once we got everything we got into the car and drove straight to the whyte wyrm to hide all of it. 'We can put it all in Jughead's office since no one else goes in there but me and him' Betty said as we pulled up outside and grabbed all the bags before walking in.

We walked into the bar and I saw Betty look around for the sight of Jughead but then she soon realized he wasn't down here so we headed up to the office to put the bags away. Betty slowly opened the door and I stood there waiting for her to walk in. But she didn't, instead she stood there in shock and dropped the bags before running of crying.

Betty's POV

When I opened the door I was flooded with anger and sadness. In front of me was my raven haired boy sat back to me with a girl sat on his lap with her tongue down his throat. My instant reaction was to run, so that's what I did. I slammed the bags down before running down to the bar, I ran behind the bar into the utensil room and fell onto the floor crying.

Not long after the door creaked open and Veronica and Toni walked up to me and hugged me. 'He's cheating on me' I sniffled, 'why would you think that' Toni asked with a confused face. 'Because I saw it, he didn't even come to see if I was alright' I yelled. Slowly I saw Jugheads masculine figure walk into the room and he crouched beside me and leaned in for a hug but I pushed him away. 'Don't touch me' I screamed, 'what's wrong' he asked in shock that I pushed him. 'Your a fucking cheater' I said before standing up. 'I never cheated' he said angrily and followed behind me as I walked out. 'I just saw you in your office' I yelled as I turnt around facing him. 'That wasn't me' he yelled back. 'I saw you Jughead, you were there with your back to me not wearing your hat and had a girl across your lap' I growled. 'Betty, calm down, jughead was with me and fangs at pops, we've just got back' Toni said hugging me. 'But- I- I just saw- wait so who's up there' I said embarrassed about how I reacted. 'Sweetpea, he asked if he could go up there for some peace but I didn't know he was going to fucking a girl up there' Jughead said, 'oh. Now I feel bad and embarrassed. Sorry' I said hiding my head in my hands. 'It's okay' he smiled before hugging me, we walked upstairs and me and Veronica grabbed the bags and put them in the office whilst jughead kicked sweetpea and the girl out. 'I feel stupid' I sighed as I collapsed onto the sofa. They both looked at me and started laughing hysterically at how red I had went of embarrassment , I laughed too till I could barely breath.
