"Just take the box, Taehyung. I made extra." Jimin said, sliding Taehyung a box of four assorted cupcakes wrapped in their bakery's blue and gold colors. He made a batch to bring to Jungkook when Jimin's shift would finish. Taehyung let it slip that he'd managed to convince Min Yoongi to go on a date with him while they were working and Jimin had immediately gone to whip up another batch of cupcakes. Besides, it gave him something to do, something else to focus on.

When Jungkook had finally left his apartment the other night, the weight of everything he had told him finally crashed down on Jimin. He wasn't sure how to feel about it, about Jungkook's debt and his debt to Jieun. Most of all, he felt sorry for both of them. They were just kids when their parents gambled them away. Kids. As much as Jimin hated Jieun for causing Jungkook so much pain, he couldn't help but feel a little sorry for her too.

"No way." Taehyung replied, staring at the box like it was their bakery cat, Kookie, before they fed her.

"Come on, it'll make him happy." Jimin chimed, sliding the box over to Taehyung.

"Jimin, unlike you, I'm very cool. My brand is dark, mysterious, and sexy. My motto is literally: I'm only going to smile when I feel like it. Giving Yoongi a pretty little box of cupcakes, decorated in little golden ribbons and sprinkle hearts completely goes against that brand."

"You're younger than him, he'll think it's cute."

"He'll skin me."

"I'm pretty sure he won't be put off if you rep our bakery on your date. Speaking of which, when are you leaving?" Jimin asked, staring up at the clock. He was surprised to see it was noon already.

"Soon." Taehyung answered with a shrug but he kept glancing at his watch, his tongue between his teeth as he nervously furrowed his brows. He ran a hand through his hair before sighing, jumping to sit up on the kitchen counter with his feet dangling to the side.

"Who are you taking to the club opening next week?" Taehyung stalled, "Seokjin said we can bring a guest, we just need to tell him who since their opening night is already filled to the max."

Jimin felt himself blush and he looked down at the cupcakes he was frosting so that he could avoid looking directly at Taehyung. Trying to sound as neutral as he could, he answered: "Jungkook."

Taehyung raised his brows in surprise, his legs stopping mid swing. "You guys are speaking?" He asked since the last time Jimin had talked to him about Jungkook it'd been about Jungkook possibly cheating. "Namjoon was pissed-"

"Well, dating's more like it." Jimin answered, the frosting missing the cupcake and hitting the tray underneath it instead. "And I don't care what Namjoon thinks."

"Dating? What? How? When?" Taehyung asked, practically falling off the table.

"I'll tell you about it later when we watch Shrek." Jimin said and then thanked God when the chime of their front door echoed, causing Jimin to look out the kitchen window and see a surprisingly nervous Min Yoongi walk through the door. He clasped his hands in front of his black t-shirt, his matching bomber jacket making it seem more trendy. He had a pair of silver headphones wrapped around his neck and Jimin was reminded about something Taehyung had said about Yoongi being really into producing music.

"Your knight in shining sweats just walked into the bakery. Here," Jimin placed the box of cupcakes in Taehyung's hands. "Give him these."

"Jimin, again, I have a brand to protect."

"And I have a bakery to promote."

Taehyung hopped off the table and ran a hand nervously through his hair. He stopped at the kitchen door that leads into the front of the bakery, looking back at Jimin with his cheek between his teeth. "Um, do you think Hoseok would be okay if I asked Yoongi to come to the club opening?"

"What?" Jimin almost dropped the piping bag he was holding. "What no what why haha why would you need to ask Hoseok? Yoongi and Hoseok have never met. Hahahaha. Ha." Fuck.

Taehyung raised his brows and shrugged after a long look. "Sorry, I thought you knew. They dated."

"Whaaaa-" Jimin was very surprised. He really pushed the fact that he was surprised so that Taehyung knew just how shocked and surprised and new this information was.

Taehyung stared.

"Maybe ask Hoseok if he'd be okay with it?" Jimin offered. "Or, for now, just have fun on your date. You should really go to him before he steals our cat." He added, seeing how Yoongi picked Kookie up and Kookie, who only allowed a select few people to even near him, melted into Yoongi's grip like he'd been thrown into Heaven itself.

"Our cat's an asshole, it's okay if he gets stolen." Taehyung chimed, scrunching his nose.

"Go." Jimin urged with a laugh and shoved the box of cupcakes in Taehyung's arms before pushing his friend out the kitchen door.
