Bringing them back

Chapter 5

(Before Mia went into the Afterlife)

"So you're saying" Felicity started, "That when I was rambling about you being dead you were standing right in the meeting office watching me ramble about it?"

Oliver chuckled, "Yeah"

Felicity groaned burying her face into his chest, "God I really to learn to not talk to myself" Oliver held her in place and wrapped his arms around her, "you looked cute and you still are"

Felicity sighed, "if we had a way out of here would you take it?" Felicity looked over to him, " I'll take it in a heartbeat" Felicity nodded and settled back in his arms, "me too"

None of them noticed the colour change in his eyes or tone change in Oliver's voice when he said he wanted to go back, the only one who did was Mar Novu and so he took the quest of bringing them back ordered the spectre himself.

"What are we supposed to do?" William asked, "Like I know we have no clue on what that means and how to use it as a key" Mia snapped, both David and William were shocked, "I'm sorry" Mia sighed.

"David, can you call the others and ask please?" William asked, "sure thing," David said and took out his phone and dialled the nearest number.

"Hey, Stephen, hand the phone over to Thea," David said in the phone when William motioned for Thea.

"Hey" Thea's voice came, "Thea I need you to keep the phone on speaker," Mia said, "It's on speaker" Thea's voice came.

"We found the clue but it says 'we have all the time in the world' and we have no idea on what to do," Mia said, "I think we need to focus on the thing Oliver wanted for Felicity that he couldn't complete" Barry's voice came, "but what?" William asked.

"Oliver wanted to tell Felicity everything that happened to him on the island and off it, he told me that he didn't have time and he needed it to tell her everything but he never got the time" Sara's voice came through the speaker, "so what do we do?" Mia asked, "Mia you were in the Afterlife right?"

"Yeah for some time"

"That means you can go back in and bring them back"

"Sara I'm not a witch"

"You don't need to be a witch to do it I encountered it on a mission you need to focus" Mia sighed "I don't know if I can do it"

"Yes you can," Thea said, "You're Mia Queen and the thing that I know about you is you don't give up, so try Mia you got this"

"Okay just be on the phone"

"Always"

Mia moved back towards the black spot and stood beside it, she closed her eyes and focused on the feeling she felt when she was there, she focused on her parents, she focused on the office and everything that reminded her of the Afterlife.

When Mia opened her eyes she stood in the Afterlife, with Oliver and Felicity in front of her, "Mia how did you get here again?" Felicity asked, "doesn't matter the key for the two of you to return is believe that you can and focus"

"How do you know this?" Oliver asked, "I just do there's no time to explain I can't hold on much longer just focus and believe that you can come back, please"

"How?"

"You know how" Mia sighed, "Please"

Mia opened her eyes and fell forwards, William caught her, "It worked! I was in there! I told them to focus!" Mia exclaimed standing or more like stumbling her way up, "Yeah you did kiddo now calm down" William said steadying her.
