Siddhartha  -  Herman Hesse

by sloanranger

Some prosper, some sicken and die;

Siddhartha wanted to know why.

Many paths and quests

Taught him ... but best,

Vasudeva and the river brought Light.

Siddhartha, by Herman Hesse, is a nifty little book on the search for enlightment. Hardly more than a short story - what might be called a novella - Sid goes though many routes seeking the path to enlightenment. I think you might enjoy this one.
