Next morning when Gauri woke up she realized she was not lying in Siddarth’s arms, she looked to his side of the bed and realized he must have gotten hot during the night because his t-shirt was off. She smiled as her gaze moved over his face then dropped down to his naked chest. The first thing her eyes sought was the tattoo on the left side of his chest. She moved closer to him and traced the outline of the tattoo with her index finger.

She rose up on her elbow and once again gazed at his handsome face. Her heart gave loud thump then increased in speed of its rhythm as the anticipation of coming night made her blood rush through her veins. She wondered if she will be able to pull off her surprise or the anxiety will make her back out at last minute and wait for him to take the lead into their intimate moment.

God knows she loves Siddarth more than her life and trusts him completely, no questions asked, but she still can’t let go of the anxiety of him seeing her scars for the first time.

Siddarth watched the fleeting expressions on Gauri’s face as she gazed at him. She was looking at him but her mind was million miles away. His heart clenched when he saw the uncertainty on her face and knew exactly what she was thinking about.

He was well aware of her fear of exposing herself completely in front of him. He also knew that words alone would not diminish her fear. He knows that she trusts him completely so it will be up to him to take the matters into his own hands when the time is right.

“You are overthinking it too much.” He whispered softly.

Gauri snapped out of her trance when she heard Siddarth’s husky voice. She met his eyes and her eyes softened with love when she saw him watching her intently. Gauri leaned down and kissed his lips softly. “Good morning Siddarth.”

Siddarth tightened his arms around her and flipped her on her back. “Good morning sweetheart.” Then he bent and kissed the corner of her lip, he then took her upper lip between his lips and pulled gently. Gauri opened her mouth and he immediately deepened the kiss.

All thoughts immediately flew out of Gauri’s mind. She clenched her hands on Siddarth’s bare back then ran her hand up and down his back. After few moments he pulled back and buried his face in Gauri’s neck.

His whole body was trembling from unfulfilled desire. He took several deep breaths to control his galloping heart. He then lifted up and looked down at Gauri. “Are you okay?”

Gauri smiled up at him as she entwined her arms around his neck and brought him closer to her. “Shouldn’t I be asking you that?”

Siddarth groaned and touched his forehead to hers. “Woman, can’t you ever just answer my question?”

Gauri pushed him back and sat up. “Okay, I will. I am fine. Now will you tell me where we are going?”

Siddarth looked at her lovingly and cupped her face with his one hand. “Does it matter?”
