Chapter 8: Midnight

I walked through the front door of the house.

"Mom! Im home!"

"Whose this?"

"Oh, this is my friend Jordan. Jordan this is my mom."

"Call me Linda."

"We'll be up in my room."

I ran up the stairs with Jordan following close behind.

"So what's the movie you wanted to watch?"

"The Fault in our Stars." He raised his eyebrows at me

"What! It's the best movie ever!"

"Okay.."

We walked in my room and I got out the movie and put it in the DVD player. While I was doing that, Jordan was walking around my room.

"You play minecraft?" Oh shit. I forgot to close the game!

"Umm... I don't really play it that often.."

"Don't lie! You play minecraft!"

"Maybe..."

"Don't worry, I think it's cute." He winked at me.

"Do you play it?"

"I would be lying if I said no."

I just smiled at him. He's so adorable.

I sat down on my bed and he did the same. The movie started to play but we were talking the whole time so we didn't notice.

I looked at the clock. It was midnight. Good thing it was summer break.

"Jordan it's midnight."

"Oh really? It only felt like a few minuets."

"Do you have to go home?"

"Probably. My brother will be getting worried."

"Okay. I'll walk you outside."

I slowly walked through the house. I didn't want this to end. We walked outside and stared into each others eyes.

"Jordan..." I was gonna say thanks for hanging out and getting ice cream and stuff but I was cut off by his lips touching mine.

"Brooke, your beautiful. I don't want this moment to end."

"Me either."
