I am a turkey and you may take me away
the acceptance is in my eyes as you say, amen
as a farewell comes out of my YELP
a tear, i shed, my happiness, my life, i give you
May your heart be filled with love and kindness
and your life narrow and straight with fate
However i pray you don't break but bend
Now today I ask, what you thankful for, my friend?
A family so touching and brave in the struggles
Who are never giving up and kind of angels
The one that you see on that christmas tree
is my favorite one that I seek
My friends I adore that came to my life
A roof, a home, to live in I thank
For that cup of hot chocolate down my throat
And to be guided to the nature
Where the birds sing and take me
Landed, a bok on my hands with a lot of plans
The opportunty for a mistake and to be forgiven
Eyes to see your beloved eyes
Ears to listen to the whispers of the wind
Lips to be able to speak the truth, not lose your trust
Feet to run as fast as a stallion
Arms to hug and have the soul to care
Perhaps even not to care but
The nost to smell home - baked cookies
Feel the soft grip of a hand and a warmth of your sweater
Thankful for God and another chance for tomorrow
Thankful to be able to be good all over again
