The elderly are tenderly
Of a time of souls
With 80s or 90s music
Perhaps even Led Zeppelin tuning in
the rhythm of heart beat- beat
Look into their eyes
And a gateway is open to you
Leading to their world of fields
They're cherry - bee nostalgia
A smile of ease and comfort
Stories of childish joy- and tea
Little cups, presidents, and love
The light you bring, warming
To grasp you tight, they miss someone
And blessed are thee who give them
So much they done, to rememeber
The elderly are tenderly
Who have forgotten but forgiven
a treasure in their hearts, grieving
Some wise, to remember the dreaming
A tear drops on a letter
Magic, it has created the paper
A message from them you see
striving, for so much more
