Next morning
Manik had the same routine of freshening up and made his way towards the gym with ruhi.
He was doing his warm up when the D5 boys entered the gym and saw him
C-(loudly) good morning Mr Malhotra
M-(he turned to them and kept a finger on his lips and whispered) Ruhi is sleeping, don't make noise and yeah good morning.
H- sorry
M-that's ok come
They also started their workout. After 30 min they finished and said
D- sir you won't come
M- I will come after half an hour you guys carry on.
After 30min he finished his workout and carried ruhi back to their room. After bathing himself he stepped out to see ruhi waking up. He quickly dressed himself in his casuals as he wasn't going to office and settled beside ruhi.
Ruhi then opened her eyes slowly and saw her daddy dearest near her and she squealed in excitement while manik felt his heart skip a beat seeing his baby so happy seeing him. He then lifted her in his arms and kept her on his shoulder till her sleep fully goes away. After 10 min ruhi opened her eyes fully and hugged him by wrapping her arms around his neck. Understanding that she woke up fully he broke the hug and asked her
M- did my princess see beautiful dreams in sleep
And ruhi responded enthusiastically spoke what she saw in her babyish language while manik listened to her with full concentration though nothing could be understood, while she kept saying da da in her story
M- princess when will you start calling me papa or daddy or even a dadda , I am waiting .
Whereas she shrugged as if saying I don't know
He then bathed her and dressed her in a light blue soft cotton dress and made their way towards the kitchen and started preparing her cerelac when mukti entered to ask for a coffee.
She looked at manik preparing baby food and got shocked as back then he didn't even knew the direction of kitchen and now this. But manik did not notice her
M-(to kaka)kaka sab log thodi der mein pohonch jayenge toh khana jaldi bana dena aur ahaan ka cake tayyar rakhna warna gussa ho jayega
Mu-good morning Mr Malhotra
M- morning and continued his work while ruhi was sitting on the counter playing with a spoon
Mu- who all are coming today??
