One of my old friends from middle school walked up to me.
"Hey! Sorry, it's been a while since we've talked,"
"Yeah, you stopped talking to me Because you became friend Seith the "cool kids" well how's that's going?" I said.
They paused "Look I'm really sorry..."
"You I left me when at my worse,"
"It was years ago!"
"You bullied me till the point I almost had to leave the school!"
She looked at me
"Look I know I hurt you but I miss you,"
"Got drop the act what you want?"
"Nothing!"
"Just take this and call me or text me some time," she handed me a paper and walked off I looked down at it I opened it and saw her number I saw someone standing in front of me. As a slow dance began to play
I stood up and saw Stanly.
"Oh hey..." I mumbled
I remembered when we'd cook In the kitchen and make a mess. We'd throw flower and food at each other and we'd end up on the couch eating whatever he'd go do I think we rarely ever used the oven.
"Um, would you like to dance?"
I smiled "sure,"
He took my hand we danced.
"Sorry I have been distance..."
"Yeah, you have..."
"I wanted to buy you this,"
He handed me a Necklace.
"Sydney helped me pick it out,"
"It's beautiful!"
Stanly's pov:
(earlier that day)
I got back home and got ready.
I put the necklace in a small box and my back pocket.
I got in my car and though what to say to her.
"Hey.." no!
"Y/n I got you this, to show you a token of my lo- no that's dumb."
"Y/n, you're so beautiful tonight, please wear this! No that's pushy! Ugh..." I drove there I sat outside for a moment I look over Missing her. All the great memories we had in this car.
I got out and shut the car door. I walked in. I went to the bleachers I couldn't find her anywhere.
I sat there. Someone sat next to me I saw Sydney.
"I thought you weren't coming..."
"Should have told you I was going,"
I nodded
"But bye you got y/n and her new necklace go get her,"
She pointed to y/n and some guy.
I looked at her and smiled.
We walked down the bleachers I took next to her mad her friend.
Syd pushed me a little. I looked at her and rolled my eyes and walked over to y/n.
Your pov:
"Turn around,"
He said.
I turned around I moved my hair and put the necklace on me.
I took his hand and we began to dance. We danced for a while then sat down.
"I'm gonna go get drinks," he said.
He ran off and brought back to drinks dancing as he walked towards me I laughed.
I stood up and pulled him by the shirt and kissed him.
I sat back down. I saw him smiling he handed me a drink and sat down next to me putting his arm around me. The principal got on stage and began to speak I didn't listen I just started at Stanly. He looked at and smiled.
