Brian's POV I tried cuddling with Gary last night, but he pushed me away. I assume he's still mad at me. When Reid wakes up I'll have to apologize for the way I acted towards him. Maybe then, Gary won't be mad at me anymore, I hope. I want to be able to hold him again. I was a little jealous that Gary cuddled with Reid last night, but I'm not going to show it, or say anything. I know it has to do with me. I walked out to the front lounge, and sat down on the couch. Hopefully Reid will be up soon, so I can talk to him. I waited for two hours, and he never came out. He's either still asleep, or is avoiding me. I wouldn't be surprised if he was still asleep, Gary is the same way after he had to perform the night before. About an hour later, they both came out of the room. I could tell Gary was still tired. I assume Reid got him out of bed. "Morning Gary." I said. He just glared at me and sat across from me. "How long are you going to be mad at me?" I asked. I was getting annoyed with him ignoring me, and not talking to me. Of course, he didn't answer me. Reid sat with Gary. I figured now is the time to apologize to Reid. At least Gary will hear it. "I'm sorry Reid, for the way I acted towards you. I didn't mean it. I'm just very protective of Gary. Please forgive me." "I do forgive you, but Gary doesn't, because you haven't forgiven me." "Figured. I'm sorry Reid. I forgive you, honestly. Do you forgive me?" "Yes. Do you promise to be nicer to me?" "I promise to try." "Good enough." After he said that, he got up and went to the back room. "I'm sorry I upset you Gary, please talk to me. I miss you." "You know all I wanted was you to apologize to Reid, right? And forgive him." "I know, and I was going to last night, but you both fell asleep before I could." "Ok. Do me a favor and leave him alone from now on, I don't need to lose him, and I don't need his Dad getting to him anymore." "Fine, I promise to leave him alone." "Good." He got up and left without saying another word.

Gary's POV
I went to the back room, where Reid had gone. To my surprise, the door was open. I honestly thought he would have closed it. "You OK, Reid?" "Yes, I wanted to hear what he would say, after I left." "I'm pretty sure if he was going to say anything about you, he wouldn't have said it with you in the same area as us, and I would've scolded him, if he said something about you, that I know would hurt your feelings." "I know, but I wanted to know if he was just playing nice, just so you would talk to him again, or if he meant what he said." "I guess we'll find out." "Yeah. Do you fully forgive him?" "I do, but I don't fully trust him." "Do you trust me?" I sighed and sat next him. "I do." He smiled and hugged me. I smiled and hugged him back. "I love you baby." "I love you too Gary. I have a question, does your wife know about me?" "No, I haven't told her yet." "Ok, do you have any kids?" "Yes, two daughters, Brittany and Brooklyn, 16 and 12." "Ok." "Why?" "Just wondering. Will they like me?" "I'm sure they will. Just don't tell them about your girlfriend or the baby. I'm not sure how they would take it." "I won't." "Ok, I will call them when we stop." "Ok, I'm going to lay down with Isabelle." "Ok baby, I'll come get you when I call them." "Ok." He got up and left the room, and at the same time, Brian walked in the room. "Where is he going?" "To be with his girlfriend." "Ok. I just wanted to let you know that someone was trying to get a hold of you on your tablet." "Who?" "I don't know, I didn't bother looking at it." I got up and went to the front lounge. I grabbed my tablet, just as someone was calling again. I looked and saw it said Brittany. I answered, but it wasn't her, it was Brooklyn. "Hey baby, what are you doing on Brittany's Skype?" "She told me to call you, but she doesn't want to talk to anyone. She wanted me to tell you." "Tell me, what?" "Mom got on to her, for something she didn't do, and told her that she was going to call you." Oh great, here we go again. I told her to stop blaming my kids for her problems and then calling me about it. "Ok, do me a favor, take the tablet to Brittany. I know you said she didn't want to talk to anyone, but I need to talk her." "Ok." She went to Brittany's room, and gave her the tablet. I could tell she was crying. I heard Brooklyn leave her room and close the door. "I know you don't want to talk to anyone, baby, but I need you to tell me what happened." She was still crying, but was trying to calm down enough, to where she could talk. "Did your mom hurt you?" I asked her, a bit concerned. I knew the only time she was like this, is when her mom hurt her, and I told her if she ever hurt any of them again, I was taking them with me. She looked away from the screen, but didn't say anything. "Please answer me, I need to know." Before she could answer, my phone started ringing. It was her mom calling me. I didn't answer her. I couldn't, I already knew she was going to lie to me. "Brittney, I need you to talk to me. Tell me what happened." She took a deep breath. "I'm not allowed to talk about it." "I don't care what your mom said, I need to know what happened." Once again, my phone rang, before she could say anything. It was my wife, again. "I'm not answering her, just talk to me, please." She got upset, when I said that. "Just answer her, she's not going to stop calling." She started crying again. "No, she's not important right now, you are. Tell me what happened, please. Did she hurt you?" She looked away again, and nodded her head, yes. I felt my blood boil when she said yes. I had enough of this. "Ok, do me a favor, pack a bag, and have Brooklyn do the same. I will be passing through tomorrow morning to pick you two up. I want you both to find something to eat tonight, then lock yourself in your rooms. I don't want your Mom getting to you two again." "What about school?" "I will handle everything, just do as I say, ok?" "Ok. I love you Dad." "I love you too baby, I'll call you when I get in town." "Ok, bye Dad." "Bye baby." She hung up, and I headed back to the back room. I ignored Brian and sat on the bed. "What's wrong? I can tell you're pissed." "Don't worry about it right now. I need to calm down, before I end up hurting someone." "Talk to me." "No, not till I calm down." "Go take a warm shower, that'll help." I just nodded my head. I couldn't go for a walk, while the bus was moving, so I went to shower. I took an hour in the shower, just trying to calm down, but it didn't work. I was still pissed, and I was only getting angrier with this on my mind. I shut off the water, got out and wrapped my towel around me. My wife was still trying to get a hold of me, but I wasn't answering her. Instead, I blocked her number. "Gary, are you ok?" "I'm fine Brian." "Ok." I got dressed, and went to the front of the bus to talk to my bus driver. "Hey, I need a favor, I need you to stop by my house when we get to Nashville. I need to get my girls." "Ok." Was all he said. I went and sat down on the couch. I didn't know what to do. I wanted a drink, but at the same time I knew it wouldn't be a good idea. I huffed. I went back to my bus driver and told him to stop at the nearest park. I needed a walk. About 30 minutes later, he stopped at a park and I got off the bus. I walked the whole park three times, before I collapsed on the ground and just cried. I didn't know what to do about my wife, or my kids. All I know is that I need to get my girls away from their Mom. "Gary?" I heard someone call for me. Oh great, just what I need, is for someone to see me like this. "Gary, where are you? I know you're out here, your bus driver told me where you were." It was Brian looking for me. I just let him look for me. I didn't feel like talking. It didn't take him long to find me, but when he did, he knelt down beside me and held me close to him. "What's wrong? Please tell me." I just shook my head, and laid my head on his chest. He sighed and rubbed my back, to calm me down. "It's ok Gary, just relax." "No, it's not ok. I have to stop in Nashville to pick up my girls because of their Mom." "What happened?" "Their Mom is blaming my oldest for her problems, and she hurt her, now I have to get them, before she gets to them again." "Doesn't she treat you like this when you're home?" "Yes, but I prefer it be me, not them. At least I can handle it, they can't." "You can't handle it either." "I can handle it better than they can." "Not really, but ok. Does this mean I have to go home?" "No, you need to stay with me. I know I will regret it if I send you home." "Are you going to leave her?" "I don't know, I don't know what to do." "Want my advice?" "I already know what you're going to say, so, no." "If you say so. We need to go get back on the road, or you might not make it on time to your next show." "I know." He stood up, and then he helped me up. He held on to me the whole way back to the bus. We got back to the bus, and Brian sat me on the couch. Then, he sat next to me. "Relax, it'll be ok. I will be here for you." "I know, I just don't know how I end up getting myself into these situations." "It's not your fault, don't blame yourself. It's not like you knew this would happen." "True, but I never wanted my kids to go through this. I've told her to leave my kids alone." "Yeah, we all know how well that goes." "Oh shut up. I'm done talking about this." "Ok, I'll leave you alone." "You don't have to leave. I just don't want to talk about this anymore." "Ok. I won't bring it up anymore." I just nodded my head. I didn't want to talk anymore. I laid down and went to sleep, till Brian woke me up to go do sound check. I groaned, I really didn't want to deal with the day anymore. I got up and got dressed. Then, I went and got Reid up. He was awake, and already dressed. I guess Brian got him up, then me. We all walked in the arena, Jay and Joe Don were already waiting for me. Brian, Reid, and Isabelle waited backstage while we did sound check, then when we were done, Reid and his siblings did their sound check. "Are you ok, Gary?" Brian asked me. "I'm fine." I said, even though we both knew that wasn't the truth. Brian sighed, but he didn't say anything. I kept an eye on Reid, and Neil, to make sure he didn't bother him. Of course, he tried a few times, but Kim would stop him. Reid was doing his best to stay as far away from him as possible. I could tell he was getting uncomfortable though. Once their sound check was over, I went to get Reid off stage. I wasn't taking any chances of Neil, or his Dad, getting to him. I led him off stage, and we went back to my bus. We sat on the couch, except Isabelle, she went to lay down. "How far along is Isabelle?" I asked Reid. "three months, why?" "I was curious." "Ok. What are you going to do about my brother?" "I don't know yet, but I do know that I'm going to have security at both ends of the stage when you perform tonight, and every night you have to perform." "Ok. I'm going to lay down." "Ok, I'll get you up when it gets close to the time we have to perform." "Ok." He got up and went to his bunk. I went to the back room, and laid down for a while. I didn't go to sleep, I just laid down. I wasn't tired, I just wanted to be alone. About three hours later, I got up and went to get Reid up. He was already awake, and so was Isabelle. But, I could tell something was bothering him. "Reid, can we talk for a minute?" I asked. He sighed and jumped out of his bunk. We both walked to the back room, and I closed the door. We sat on the bed, and I pulled Reid into a hug. "What's wrong baby?" "My dad won't leave me alone. He's been messaging me, and constantly calling me, for the past hour." "Why didn't you tell me?" "I did, you didn't answer me. I texted you, telling you that he wouldn't leave me alone." "Oh, sorry, I didn't realize you had messaged me." "It's ok. It got to the point where I just powered my phone off." "Your brother was bothering you too, wasn't he?" "Yes, he was." "Figured. We'll have to get you a new number." "This is my new number. How they got it? I don't know." "Ok, block them." "I will, when I get the chance to." "Ok, go get ready, we need to perform soon." "Great." He said annoyed. I knew he didn't like that, but it was the truth. He got up and left the room. While he was getting ready, I went to get ready myself. "Gary, can I change with you?" Reid asked me, as I was headed to the bathroom to change. "Uh, I guess. But, you better not try anything with me again." "I won't. But, please, stop bringing that up. I regret it, a lot." He said, upset. "Ok, I'm sorry." I let him in the bathroom with me, but I still didn't trust him. I know I should, especially since I've been giving Brian a hard time about this, but he shows it, I don't. We got ready for the concert, and headed in the arena. Brian and Isabelle followed behind us.
