A day with the devil

Once I caught up with everyone else I started to explain things.
"That's the kitchen, and over there is the living room..."
After I was done explaining everything around the hotel,
I got an idea. I wasn't sure how Alastor would respond but hey it's worth a shot.
"Um, Al.. I was thinking maybe I could spend more time with Lucifer, like a walk or something?"
I asked, holding my hands behind my back.
"Why?"
"Because I want to get to know him."
" n/n he is not like me or you, he's pure evil."
" I'll be fine,"
"and what if you won't, what if you get hurt, what will I do?"
"Then...I guess you'll just have to trust me."
I said with a warm smile.
"Alright."
He said with a large sigh.
"Thank you."
I flew up in the air and gave him a hug, then I bolted to where Lucifer was standing.
" hey it's me again." I greeted with a smile.
"Indeed it is." The devil responded.
"Wanna go for walk?" I questioned.
"Why?"
"Because I wanted to go on a walk with somebody, but everyone else is busy.
"Well... okay."
"Cool." I said, grabbing his hand and leading him to the door.
Once we got out the hotel, I had the intention to head to one of the only a few lakes in hell.
"so, do you have any hobbies?" I asked, trying to get a conversation started.
"Not really, I'm a very busy man, you know? Do you have any hobbies?"
" I like (favourite hobby ) and (other favourite hobby).
I responded with a smile.
"Ooo is it true that you have retractable wings?"
I asked remembering the burning question I wanted to ask.
"Maybe."
He said as a large pair of black appeared on his back.
"That's so cool!"
I exclaimed with stars in my eyes.

After several more minutes of talking about nonsensical, nonsense,
We finally came across the lake.
"One second."
I decided it would be a good idea to check to make sure there weren't any animals that we might scare.
So here I was, once more a deer, for the second time.
My little hooves, walking across the barring grass.
Once I reached the actual pond I was blown away by what I saw.
"Lucifer you need to see this."
I muttered, in disbelief.
Lucifer slithered over.
Apparently, he can turn into a snake, which is pretty cool.
"Wow."
He said in awe.
There was a large beautiful swan taking care of her cygnets, but one of them wasn't like the others, one of them was a small duckling.
It was doing the same things their siblings were doing but it was a bit smaller then the others, and it was yellow.
I smiled at the sight, maybe it's the swan, or the baby swans or maybe it's because the duckling.

By now the swan was comfortable with us here so we went back to normal.
I had brought some bird seeds for them to eat.
The swan eat some seeds straight from my palm.
I was a bit scared she would bite me but she was very gentle, and never attacked me when I pulled my hand away to get more seeds.
The swan nuzzled my leg.
"awww, I think I'll name you Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty in Greek Mythology.
I said booping the swan on the top of her beak.
She started to swim away, when she honked at me as if to say, thank you.
Before disappearing into the marsh of the small lake.
"We should start heading back now, before Alastor starts to worry."
I said with a soft smile.
Before I knew it we were back to talking about random things.
"How are watermelons berries and straw berries aren't berries?"
"The world doesn't make sense."
Lucifer responded with a laugh, as we were face to face with the door of the hotel.
I opened it only to find everyone freaking out.
Alastor's pupils were radio dials.
Vaggie was trying to hit him with a frying pan.
Angel got a concussion.
Husk is taking a nap.
Nifty was trying to clean.
And Charlie was trying to calm everyone down.

"What happened?" I asked confused.
"N/n! Your alive!" Alastor exclaimed.
"Well of course I'm alive I have been gone for an hour and a half."I facepalmed
"And in that amount of time someone got a concussion and someone is trying to kill someone else." I said with a sigh.
"Now if you excuse me I'm going to say good bye."
I turned to Lucifer.
"You should come over more often."
I giggled
"Well like I said I'm a busy man."
Alfredo flew down out of nowhere.
"Oh this is my pet dove, Alfredo. She hates everyone."
I mentioned as Alfredo nuzzled my cheek.
"She doesn't seem to hate you."
"I'm not everyone."
I said with smile.
"goodbye."
I said turning around dramatically.
"Goodbye n/n."
