you are so silly to think that i am something a body can hold
in my dreams i swallow the stars whole
i split the milky way straight down
the middle and drink up
whatever runs down to my tonuge
these are remnants of destroyed solar system i'm breathing ini conspire to create in me something cosmic
the celestial spheres find their home in me
and a galaxy burns right beneath my ribs
perhaps now i will be luminous, perhaps now i will be glowingi dream of consuming constellations
unaware of the universe already stitching my skin together
when i wake,
i feel the weight of heavenly bodies screaming
and the flash of a supernova fracturingout of my mouth leaks out
the light of dead suns
these are the symptoms of starlight
and i've been glowing for awhile now
