hello loneliness
i know you won't stay
soon i'll have laugh lines set in my face
and you'll be far awaybut for now, hello loneliness
you've come when the door has closed
and i'm left to the thoughts in my head
and the questions they posehello loneliness
i greet you a little more often these days
you're found in the moments when i'm by myself
seemingly cut off from the world's gazeyou creep in slowly but surely
when my mind is idle with no task at hand
and i've swallowed the silence whole
left to what my heart demands
