THUNDER CLAPPED in the sky as a school bus from beacon hills drove along the dry roads. Coach blows his whistle, turning to look at his students sternly

"Back to your seats!"

Isaac lahey sat beside Vernon Boyd. The boy uneasy. "Stop thinking about it, man" Isaac said, keeping his eyes ahead. Boyd turned his attention to the beta, an odd look on his face

"What, you're not thinking about it too?"

Isaac nodded, tilting his head closer to his friend "We'll both stop thinking about it"

"I can't" Boyd looks to Isaac while he just stares ahead

"Well there's nothing you can do about it either."

Boyd stays looking at his friend, until Isaac finally looks at him. "You sure about that?" He turns to look back at Ethan who's looking at his phone, Danny sat beside him.

"Everything okay?" Ethan turns to look at the boy next to him, nodding slightly

"Yeah. Why?" He leans back in his seat, his eyes still on Danny

"You checked your phone three times in the last five minutes" Danny smiled sheepishly at the werewolf, trying not to come off weird

"Just, waiting for a message" Ethan brushed off the boys worry's casually, a forced smile on his lips.

"Anything important?" Danny questioned before thinking, letting his curiosity get the best of him. Ethan shook his head slightly, still smiling as he looked at the boy "no"

Danny smiles again before looking out the window of the bus, Ethan's smile drops the second he looks away, a cold and hard look in his eyes "nothing"
