A Strange New Problem {Appledash}

The Friendship Call {Chapter 1}

Nobodys POV

The sun was glistening in the light blue sky as two mares played at the beach splashing each other in a game of tag

"Hey! Come back 'ere!" Applejack yelled as she chased Rainbow Dash in the shallow part of the salty blue ocean

"You really think you can catch me huh Jack ?" Rainbow Dash smirked and stuck her tongue out at Applejack as she flew into the sky, but was soon dragged to the ground by Applejack who splashed her with her tail grinning down at the pouting cyan Pegasus mare

"Caught ya! 'N don't ya dare call me Jack again, got that?" Applejack said, while Rainbow scoffed at Applejack "Alright, Applesmack" Just as Applejack was about to protest Rainbow Dash blurted

"Wait a second Aj, your cutie mark is glowing!" Rainbow said soon regretting her every word as Aj glared at Rainbow " 'N why are ya lookin' there exactly?" Applejack asked, receiving a hidden blush from Rainbow who hid her face in her hooves "I-I w-wasn't! I-I j-just... saw the glow! Yeah that!" Rainbow stumbled through her words

Darn it, Rainbow looks so cute when she's all flustered and nervous like that, it just kills me inside  Applejack thought about what she said for a moment and her eyes widened wait a second, did Ah jes call mah best friend c-cute?! Applejack looked around nervously and suddenly remembered what Rainbow had said 

"H-hey mines glowing t-too!" Rainbow said, desperately trying to change the subject to the task at hoof

"We better git goin' then" Applejack said trying to hide her embarrassment with her pride

"A-ah'll race ya!" Applejack said to Rainbow hoping to make her forget about the recent events "You're on!" Rainbow said as she zoomed through the water with Applejack right on her tail

{At the castle}

Rainbow Dash & Applejack burst through the golden door and knocked over Spike who was holding a lot of books, he stumbled and was soon covered by a pile of books "Oh come on! I just picked those up!" Spike groaned but soon spotted Rainbow Dash on top of Applejack "I was kind of expecting you two to be the reason" Spike said trying to hold his laughter

"Huh?" Both mares looked around when suddenly green met magenta, they stayed like that for what seemed like forever, getting lost in the other mares eyes

"I-Im s-so sorry!" Rainbow said scrambling to get off of Applejack blushing as red as the apples at Sweet Apple Acres whilst Applejack could only grin nervously

Applejack realizing the situation as Spike was giggling and snickering, and she decided to do what came naturally "Ah'm mighty sorry Spike, if only Rainbow  didn't shove me while on the way here, maybe we wouldn't have made such a mess" Applejack said while glaring at Rainbow (trying real hard not to get lost in her beautiful magenta colored eyes) who was dumb-founded and then quickly returned the glare with a growl

"You should probably see Twilight, she's waiting for you" Spike said while picking up the books on the ground still giggling, Applejack nodded slowly and the two flustered friends trotted to the room where Twilight was waiting in

"Oh hey guys" Twilight said while staring at the map looking very confused "Heya there Twi!" Applejack replied

"So, where's everypony else?" Rainbow asked "It's just you guys this time" Twilight replied still fully focused on the map while Rainbow and Applejack nervously chuckled leaving a blush on both of the mares' faces for the tenth time in a row today

"S-so Twi, where are we goin' this time?" Applejack asked Twilight "Nowhere... apparently" She responded

"Wait, what?! What do you mean nowhere?" Rainbow asked in her high-pitched raspy voice "Ah need ta see this" Applejack said

Twilight moved out of the way to let Rainbow Dash & Applejack see the map "Here?!" They both said in unison
