beautiful.

i know you're probably denying that a million times over in your head but

believe me when i say it.

i know you think you're ugly, insignificant, unworthy of love or consideration but

believe me when i say it's not you.

it's the world around you.

the world we live in is an ugly place,

a place that rewards narcissists and extremists and corrupted dogs with all the happiness and money the world can offer

a place that's twisted what it means to be pretty and what it means to be loved

but believe me

you are worth every bit of care and happiness

you may not have an a4 waist

but who says anorexia is aesthetic?

you may not have a barbie face

but who says plastic surgery equals pulchritude?

you are beautiful just the way you are

you are beyond the one octadecillion atoms of the sun,

beyond all the light around us,

beyond the theory of actuality, and

beyond the universe

please don't forget

you're the only one of you that the world has ever seen and will see

please don't let your act on this stage be a weary and desolate one

please love yourself, with all the love you have

and someday, the world will shower all that love back on you.
