The amphibians

The doctor jumped up from his chair and took his chance of escaping the chamber.

The doctor knew the way to the elevator very well.
He managed to hide from the guards that were running around and shooting.

The doctor was obviously invisible right now.
He rushed to the elevator quickly.
He remembered the floor he was up before.

"..25...", he mumbled to himself.

He pressed the button and completely forgot about how many personals were at this area.

He began to panic a little.

"How am I supposed to get trough those people.., there is no way they couldn't see me..", he whispered.

The doors opened.

Complete silence.

The doctor was confused but stepped out of the elevator quickly.

He looked to his right and left side.

He didn't knew wich way was the right one.

He walked around for a little and saw a piece of paper.
He grabbed it and took a look at it.

It was a map of the 25th floor.

"That's very very good...", he mumbled with a surprised voice.

He began to follow a direction.

It would lead the way to scp-035's chamber.

The doctor had no other choice.
He wouldn't make it out of there by his own.
So he needed help.
And the only help was the mask.

Suddenly the doctor saw the door that lead to the chamber and the control room for the chamber.

The doctor opened the door and now stood in a corridor.

He tried to open the door for the control room.

Of course he needed a keycard.

"The people here use a card to get through those doors...", he thought to himself.

He looked around for a card.

But he didn't found one.

He had no idea how to get the other scp out.

The plague doctor had to find a keycard.
So he made his way through the endless corridors again.

He heard voices.

He stopped and waited for a person to come.

But the people there were crying and begging for something..

"Who is there?!", a voice yelled.

"Please... don't kill me..!", another voice cried.

It took the doctor awhile to realize this weren't people.

"Scp-939..", he mumbled.
He walked backwards and closed the door in front of him.

Wow.. now he had to walk all the way back to the elevator.

So that's what he did.

After a couple of minutes he stood in front of the elevator.

"There has to be a keycard on this floor..", he said with frustration.

He turned around and looked around.
He opened a door.
It was a storage room.
He looked around and found a level 3 keycard.

"I hope this will work.."

He grabbed the card and rushed to the chamber.
But he heard noises coming from the other corridors.
The corridors he was in before..

He quickly slipped the card trough the scanner.
The door opened and he stepped in.

He now stood in front of the window.

"Scp-035?", the doctor asked.

The mask wasn't in there...

The doctor was confused.
He was frustrated.
He couldn't go trough the other hallways because of the stupid amphibian looking creatures.
They would smell him.

The doctor knew already some informations about scp-939.

They wouldn't see him if he would be quiet.
The creatures can only see by noises.
They would smell him only if he would be near them.
But the doctor couldn't risk that.

He had to think where the mask could be..

Maybe the mask was looking for him..

The doctor ran to the elevator and pressed the button twice.
He stepped in once the doors opened.

He pressed the number '24'.
As the doors opened again, he walked to his chamber slowly.

To his surprise.., the mask was already waiting for the doctor to come.

"Why did it took you so long to come?", the mask asked sarcastically.
The doctor chuckled a little.

"I was also looking for you..", the doctor said calmly.

The mask blushed a bit.

"But we have a problem.."
"Scp-939 and another two of them also escaped. They are on the 25th floor..", the doctor said.

The mask glanced at him with confusion.

"What is.. scp-939..?", the mask asked confused.

The doctor stared at him with anger.

"..Good.., I'll explain it..", he hissed at him.

The mask rolled his purple pupils/eyes.
"Scp-939 is a amphibian looking creature. It isn't alone. There are two more of them. They can mimic the voices they hear. They also can't see you when you're silent. They can only see by sound. That's why you better be quiet when you hear screams..", the doctor explained him.

"Oh this thing.., yes I remember the scientists talking about it..", the mask said.
"But I also heard they were on the 23t floor before? How could they use a elevator when they never saw one before..?" He asked.

The doctor glanced at him.

"Wow.., i didn't thought about this.."
"I'm sure someone lead them to the elevator.., and before the person died or disappeared.., the person pressed the button that leads to the 25th floor..", the doctor suggested.

"Maybe. But there wasn't blood or a body either..", the mask said.

"..No they got up there by themselves. i think they saw a person pressing the elevator button before its death..", the doctor explained.

"But this means they can get to whatever floor they want to..", the mask said.

The doctor was trapped in his mind.

Suddenly both, the mask and the doctor heard the elevator doors open..
