"Don't leave me again."

The mask had a warm feeling around his body.
He felt comfortable near the doctor.

But the doctor was still struggling to find the feelings for the mask. Also feelings of trust and feelings you have for a good friend.

But for the moment, he was happy.
He was happy he wasn't alone.

He had someone to talk to.
Someone who would save him.
And he would do the same thing.

The doctor soon realized.., that he stood alone in a corridor.

The mask wasn't there.
The doctor began to panic a little.

He began to wander through the open doors quickly.

"Where are you?!" The doctor shouted in panic.

But no one answered.

The mask was gone.
Where was he..
What happened..
How could he not notice where he went?

The doctor continued on to run around and search.

Suddenly, he heard a door opening.

He had a really really bad feeling.

He hid on a shelf.

He heard terrifying sounds of a creature.
The creature was crying and sobbing..

But the doctor realized what it was as he saw the shadow of the creature.
He closed his eyes and stayed calm.

"I need to find the mask.." the doctor thought to himself.

As the doctor heard the door was open, and it closed again, he began to ran back all the way to the room.

He looked inside but there was no one.
He looked around for some papers.
Maybe he could find something that could lead him to the mask. Or maybe it could help the doctor to find the mask easier.

He suddenly grabbed a weird looking navigator.

He turned it on.
There where different numbers and-
His.. "name?"

Scp-096
Scp-999
But not the mask...
If he wasn't here in this area.
Where could he be then..?

But he had to be here.
There is no way the mask just disappeared or used a elevator without the doctor.

He had to be here somewhere..

The doctor began to follow a direction.

He came closer to scp-096.

He looked down.

He stopped.
Only being able to see his foots.

The doctor closed his eyes.

The creature walked by and the doctor sneaked behind the corner.

He then continued on to follow the direction.
This time, the doctor knew the mask wasn't only a friend. He was a best friend to him after all.
And he missed the mask.
He didn't liked it to be alone.
Even if the doctor could escape alone..
He wouldn't want it.

The doctor had a weird feeling.
Like the mask was in sort of danger.

The feeling grew bigger and bigger as his steps turned into runs.

He ran in one line.

Til he found a door and the feeling was more likely a terrifying moment.
He was scared of what will be behind that door.

He opened the door.
He saw him.
But not alone.

The mask stood on a metal shelf.

And the amphibian creatures that were slowly searching around for something.

Both the mask and the doctor were frozen.
The doctor didn't knew what he had to do.
He had to enter the room. And then get the mask out of there somehow.

This was terrible.

The doctor was thinking of something.
"Will they manage to see me if I throw something at the wall...?" He thought to himself.

He grabbed a coin that was laying on the floor.

He saw another door in the room.

He threw the coin at the button and the door opened.

He threw a candy into the opened door.

The docs ran after it.

The doctor slowly sneaked inside without making sounds.

The doctor reached the mask and got him down from the shelf.

But then.., the mask stepped on something. "No...", the doctor mumbled and ran to the door to close it.

In the last moment, one of those creatures held his legs into the door.

The doctor grabbed the masks hand and ran away. He never ran faster.

The dogs saw both of them.
And now they would see them all the time.
The doctor heard the door.
The door was destroyed.
Of course..

The doctor heard them running.

He saw a elevator and already wanted to press the button.
But the mask pulled him into a room.
He opened a door that was in the room with a keycard.

Both walked in there fast and afterwards closed it.

The doctor took deep breaths.
The mask was terrified.

"Gosh..., are you alright?" The doctor turned back to the mask and looked him deep in the eyes.

"..Yes I think so..."
"Also, where have you been?!" The mask hissed at the doctor.

"Excuse me?? If I stayed with you, we both probably never got out of the room!" The doctor yelled in a mumbling whispering voice.

The mask stayed quiet.

"So you wanted to leave me?"

The doctor looked shocked. As he just wanted to put the words back that he just had  said.

"I'm sorry. No.. I didn't wanted to leave.., forgive me..- I just..- was trapped in my thoughts as we walked down the corridors..- and..- as I was-" the doctor couldn't finish his sentence.

The mask gave him a soft hug.

"It's fine.."
"Just.. don't leave me again.."

The doctor hugged him back.
Even gave him a bigger hug.

The mask was happy.
He was happy that the doctor was back.

"I promise.., I will not leave again.." the doctor gave his promise.

Both smiled.

But a loud noise broke the hug.
