Chapter 23 - Crisis on Earth X Part 4

MacKenzie's POV

"I'm helping." I tell Barry

Barry had brought me over to a separate room to try and tell me to stay back and not to help save the city. Like hell

"I'd rather you stay here." Barry tells me

"Barry, I want to help." I tell him. "I want to be out there in the fight and I want to save the city with you guys."

"Mack, please." Barry says. "These people want you--"

"They want Kara too." I tell him. "You don't see her backing down, do you?"

"Please, Mack." Barry whispers

"No." I tell him. "You benched me last time. This time, I'm helping."

I walk out to the others, tying my hair up

We all walk forwards

Nazi's are already swarming the city, killing people and shooting everywhere

We stop

"Kill them all." The nazi leader yells

"Yes, sir!" The nazis yell

They run forwards

We run towards them

Sara, Alex, and I are fighting on the ground level when another time ship shows up

I uppercut punch the nazi and then kick his legs out from under him

The time ship shoots a laser beam past me

I duck, covering my head

"Oh you've gotta be kidding me." I mutter

"Could use a little help here." Sara orders through her comms

"I got you covered." Felicity answers

The waverider comes in and starts shooting at the other time ship, taking the fight away from the three of us

We all continue to fight

Every now and then Barry speeds through

I see Kara fly over a couple times

Sara and Alex drop some more people

I get punched in the face a few times and then kicked in the ribs and I fall to the ground

"Hey!" Sara yells

Sara and Alex are standing behind where I am on the ground, holding my stomach

"Don't you mess with her." Sara says before running forwards to beat up the guy

Then, Kara falls from the sky as a ball of fire

"Uh, Alex?" I ask, nodding up

"Kara." Alex gasps, putting a hand over her mouth

She plummets to the ground in our direction

Sara drops the last nazi in that area

Kara hits the ground, a cloud of smoke coming up

Sara helps me off of the ground

I wipe my bloody lip

When the smoke settles, we see Nate there, holding Kara

"I'd figured it would take the man of steel to catch the girl of steel." Nate says. "And, you know, a tremendous amount of help."

Everyone starts to regroup
