~Melo's POV~

"Damn everybody in this bitch" I said to mel and I held Liam on my him

We had just walked into the banquet hall where the Lakers meet up party was happening and it was kinda packed

I wasn't too concerned about anything else since I knew both my brothers and their families would be here since it's a family event.

Mel: "there's Zo and zoey" she said as she pointed in their direction

I nodded and we walked over to the table where he was

Mel: "I'm not even gonna ask where Denise is" she laughed as she sat down next to Zo

Zo: "she's over there making a plate" he laughed as he pointed to the buffet

My eyes got real wide since I assumed that after everything that happened yesterday she wouldn't be here

Mel: "y'all speaking again?"

Zo shook his head

Zo: "zoey begged her to come with us" he laughed as he pointed to zoey

Liam: "dad can we go get food"

I looked at Zo

"Yeah and take zoey with you."

Zo: "tell yo momma to make y'all plates" he semi yelled to zoey as her and Liam darted for Denise

I laughed cause he sounded like dad
I was about to pull out the chair and sit down next to mel but some little girl came running past me

"DAD COME ON, I WANT THIS TABLE ITS GOLD!" She yelled as she slapped the table next to us

I had no space to talk about anybody else's kids behavior cause I know my son was basically a hairless monkey whenever he felt like it

I laughed to myself thinking about how Liam was literally a tiny version of me

I started daydreaming about how me and Mel would run through the house and throw ketchup packets at each other

"No wonder dad wanted to beat my ass all the time" I laughed to myself as I sat down

Mel: "you good?" She asked me with laughter

"Yeah, why?"

Her and Zo looked at each other than bust out laughing

Zo: "well for one you almost got ran over by that child"

Mel: "and two, you've been laughing to yo self for a minute" she laughed

"Oh! I was thinking back to the dumb shit we used to do" I laughed

Zo: "bad ass kids, that's why y'all son bad as shit" he joked

Mel: "Liam is definitely our karma for irritating Lavar" she replied

I was about to say something but the same little girl who had damn near ran me over tapped Mel

"Excuse me, my doll fell under your chair" she said politely

Mel reached down and grabbed
The doll without hesitation and went to hand it back to her but stopped and stared at her

"You can play with my doll if you like her, just give her back when you're done" she smiled at Mel causing Mel to snap out of whatever trance she was in

Mel: "oh my! Sorry sweetie, here you go. She's beautiful" she said as she smoothed out the dolls hair and handed it back

"Thank you. I'm icelynn Green" she said as she sat next to mel
