-"skye!" i heard a familiar voice call.

my eyes landed on the five boys i missed so much.

my eyes began to water, not believing my eyes.

i looked back at alex hugging his mother and the rest encouraging me to go forward.

i ran towards the group, hugging them as tight as possible.

-"i missed you guys so much." i sniffled.

-"we missed you too, kid." twobit messed up my hair with glossy eyes.

-"so you saved the world?" steve smiled proudly.

-"ehh," i shrugged jokingly, "something like that."

-"i wouldn't of made it with out them." i pointed to the group behind me.

darrel kept his eyes on me, as if he was about to burst out crying.

-"you alright, dare?" i asked.

-"dal would be so proud of you." he pulled me in for a hug.

-"i know." I muttered with pursed lips.

-"i guess being a hero goes around, im signing up for the military." soda announced.

-"no you're not." darry glared at him.

-"still trying to convince darry about that one."

-"it may not be heroic but i finally dropped out of school and started a partnership with buck, steve owns his own mechanic station and pony's book got published." twobit mentioned.

-"that's great." i smiles at the boys.

-"so what happened?" ponyboy asked.

-"well, i made friends, maybe even a-"

-"i swear to god if you say boyfriend." soda raised an eyebrow.

i suppressed a smile.

-"i guess you're old enough." darry smiled.

the boys looked up at him in shock.

-"what? she's an independent woman, she can do whatever she wants."

the group started walking.

-"oh, steve you are not gonna believe what i got to ride in!"

-"a 1973 for mustang match one."

-"that's my dream car, and any other socs."
