Seth, slits his throat, and hits the floor with a loud thud. The chains, clasped around my wrists and ankles, vibrates from the sound of the impact. I look at his body slumped on the floor, disbelief makes me lean back into the wall.
Without further hesitation, I lift myself to stand. Struggling against the chains that bound me, I yell for Alice. The door opens with the blinding light that holds a female silhouette. The door closes and Alice stands in front of the closed door. Her face shows pure shock, and exasperation. I stare at her, for what seems like the longest time. Breaking the gaze, I rattle the chains to get her attention. When she looks at me, her big brown eyes are brimmed with tears.
"Hey, you'll be fine, it's all good." I'm trying to comfort her, but I don't have time for this,"Alice, the key he gave you, come release me." She looks to me and nods. As she walks to me, she looks over her shoulder at prince Seth's body. Inside I hope that this doesn't screw her up to much, but outside, I just want to get out of this hell hole!
