Marley walked out of the principal's office and was going to head to the detention room, when she suddenly stopped as she heard someone sobbing inside the women's restroom. Being the sympathetic and good-natured person that she was, she couldn't just let someone feel bad. When she entered though, the last person she expected to see was Kitty.  "Kitty!" Marley shouted in a whisper.  "Why are you in here? What's wrong?" "Everything." Kitty sobbed. "Come here." Marley says as she extended her arms out for a hug. Kitty entered the embrace sobbing.  "It's going to be OK; Do you want to talk about it?" "No." Kitty wailed.  "It's fine. I'll stay with you until you calm down, OK?"  Kitty nodded as she buried her head in Marley's shoulder.  After a few minutes, Kitty looked up into Marley's eyes. "You're really nice you know?"  "Thanks, I get that a lot." Marley replied, smiling.  "Kitty, I don't want you to take this the wrong way, but I have a confession to make." Marley said. "Me too." Kitty replied.  "You go first." Marley says.  "I'm gay." Kitty says. "More importantly, I haven't told anybody yet. Not even my parents or my brother. He doesn't know yet." Marley looked on intently not showing any emotion.  "Please don't tell anybody." Kitty said, with tears in her eyes just waiting to cry again.  "I won't. I promise." Marley replied.  "Now what did you want to tell me?" Kitty asked.  "I...I'm gay as well." Marley said. Kitty smiled sadly at her.  "I've never told anybody until now, but I'm telling you; Also, I have something else I need to confess." "What is it?" Kitty asked. "I love you Kitty." Marley stated.  "What?" Kitty said with her jaw open.  "I love you Kitty." Marley replied.  "You love me?" Kitty asked. "Yes I do. I love you, and it's not the kind of love you have as a best friend or a sister from another mother. My feelings for you are genuine and true. I love you Kitty Wilde with all my heart."  "Oh Marley!" Kitty said with tears of joy in her eyes.  "I love you too. I know I should have said something before, but I thought everyone would ridicule me, but right now, I don't care what other people think. I love you too." Kitty said smiling back at her. "Can I kiss you?" Kitty asked.  Marley smiled and nodded back at the blonde girl. Kitty and Marley then touched lips in a passionate kiss.  "Wow." Kitty exclaimed. "Yeah, that was fun." Marley said.  "Can we do it again?" Kitty asked. "I would, but unfortunately, I have to get to detention. I got an in-school suspension for fighting." Marley said. Kitty frowned. "But don't worry, I'll be back tomorrow, and I'll see you in Glee Club." Marley said reassuringly. "It's a date." Kitty said with a chuckle.  "Speaking of dates, Kitty, would you like to go to Breadstix with me this Friday?" Marley asked with hope in her eyes.  "Oh Marley, I thought you'd never ask." Kitty replied. The two girls hugged each other and laughed. Marley then began to sing:

(Bold is Marley, Italics is Kitty, Underlined text is them singing together)

I see your monsters I see your pain
Tell me your problems I'll chase them away
I'll be your lighthouse
I'll make it okay
When I see your monsters
I'll stand there so brave
And chase them all away

In the dark we we
We stand apart we we
Never see that the things that we need are staring right at us
You just want to hide hide hide
Hide never show your smile smile
Stand alone when you need someone it's the hardest thing of all
That you see are the bad bad bad
Bad memories take your time and you'll find me

(Kitty began to join in singing)

I see your monsters I see your pain
Tell me your problems I'll chase them away
I'll be your lighthouse I'll make it okay
When I see your monsters I'll stand there so brave
And chase them all away

I could see the sky sky sky
Sky beautiful tonight night
When you breathe why can't you see the clouds are in your head
I would stay there there there
There's no need to fear fear
And when you need to talk it out with someone you can trust
What you see are the bad bad bad
Bad memories take your time and you'll find me

I see your monsters I see your pain
Tell me your problems I'll chase them away
I'll be your lighthouse I'll make it okay
When I see your monsters I'll stand there so brave
And chase them all away
I'll chase them all away

You've got the chance to see the light
Even in the darkest night
And i'll be here like you were for me
So just let me in..

Cause I see your monsters I see your pain
Tell me your problems I'll chase them away
I'll be your lighthouse I'll make it okay
When I see your monsters I'll stand there so brave
And chase them all away

"Thanks I needed that." Kitty said smiling. "My pleasure." Marley replied smiling. The two then pulled each other in for a warm embrace. I'll see you tomorrow Kitty cat." Marley chuckled.  "See you then, girlfriend." Kitty replied with a laugh.

Awww. Isn't that sweet? Kitty and Marley are now a thing. I'm calling them Karley.  In the meantime, the week of Empowerment begins in the Glee club!!!

More importantly,  in the next chapter, it's time to sing!!!

I'll update when I can.

By the way, the song Kitty & Marley sing together in this chapter is "Monsters" by Katie Sky.
