"Ayy mia you hungry I'm about to go get down food," I said
Legend came out of the room
"You know what I ain't even gon say shit cause you still gon end up in my damn house," I said
"Were is mia?" I said
Legend chuckled ,"She ain't feeling good," He said
I rose my eyebrow "What you mean she ain't feeling good" I said
"she feels light-headed and her stomach hurt, " He said
I walked past him going into the room mia was laying down holding her stomach
I sat next to her pushing her hair out her face I knew she was awake because when mia sleep she sucks her thumb
"Ahh shit," she said and got up running to the bathroom
I went in there and she was throwing up
Legend came in and held her hair out her face
"Maybe we should take her to the hospital this the third time she threw up this morning and her chest hurting," Legend said
"Third nigga and you ain't think to tell me this before," I said
"I just thought she ate something but she saying her chest hurt so I think it's more than that," Legend said
"Imma get Jakova and jaylin ready just grab her some extra clothes in case she has to stay"I said
He nodded and I left the room going into the kid's room they were both knocked out
I smacked Jakova upside his head making him jump I hid on the side of the bed
"What the fuck," He said looking around
"Oooh I'm telling you cursing," Jaylin said
"Shut yo ass up" Jakova said
"Ayy you better watch how you talk to her," I said
Jaylin stuck her tongue out at him and I tapped her butt "And stop all that Snitching" I said
Jaylin pouted and I ignored her
"Get ready we need to take Mia to the hospital she not feeling good," I said
They both nodded and I left the room and went downstairs...

We made it to the hospital and we were waiting on a doctor to come in and at this point, we all were aggravated
"I don't know why yall brung me here over throwing up," Mia said
I could see legend in the corner of my eye bouncing his leg up nervously I shrugged it off
"Probably pregnant" Jakova said
I snapped my head back towards him ,"Shut yo ass up she ain't pregnant she better not be" I said glaring at legend
"Ayy when that doctor tell yall the news all hell finna break lose so Imma just scoot my chair over here," Jakova said moving his chair over
A couple of mins past by and the doctor finally came in the room
"Hi I'm doctor Harley and I'm hearing that you're not feeling too good," She said
I cringed at how white she sounded
"Can you just tell us what's wrong with her?" I said
"Mia you have a heart disease that's why your chest is hurtin and the throwing up is just another side affect ," The doctor said
I felt my heart drop at those words I looked over at legend and saw his expression change to blank
"What's gonna happen," Jakova said
"With these cases, we never know all we know is that her heart isn't working correctly and she needs to have surgery to repair her heart"
"When will the surgery be done," Legend said
"It needs to be done in a couple of days"
I looked over at Mia and she grabbed legends hand he wrapped his around hers and kisses her forehead
"She can leave today but she will need oxygen, tank because in a little while it will start to be hard to breath"
I nodded and the doctor left the room
"I always felt pain in my chest but I just thought it was normal," Mia said
"Why didn't you tell me," I said
" It's fine ok I'm gonna be fine," She said
In my heart, I wanted to believe those words but God took away my parents what if he takes away Mia
I never questioned God on his actions but I don't think I live with another person leaving me
"I-Im gonna go get some air call me if you need me," I said
And left without listening to any word they were saying...

Legends Pov
I could tell mia was scared but she tried to hide it, Her grip tightened on my hand indicating she had finally woke up
"Hey mamas how you feeling," I said
"My chest hurts and it's hard to breathe" She said
Tears began to fall down her face, I got up
She grabbed me "Dont leave" she said
"Im just gonna ask if she can give you medicine for the pain"
She nodded and left to see the doctors
"Can she take any medicine for the pain?" I said
"Yes we will be in there in a min," She said
I went back to the room
"She will be back with the medicine" I said
",Babe I'm scared," She said
I pushed her hair out her face and lifted her chin making her look at me
"Your gonna be fine mamas don't be scared," I said
The lady came in and gave mia the medicine and me and she just laid down until her brother got back
"How she doing," He said
"She sleep now but she took medicine for the pain," I said
He sighed and sat down
"Look I know we ain't close but I love yo sister to death and I know you hurting right now but for once let's get along," I said
He dapped me up "I appreciate you since our parents died she hasn't smiled until now and I know you the reason for that you got mad respect from me for that" He said
I smiled ,"Thanks bro"
"Im hungry" Jakova said
"And you ain't think to tell me that while we were driving," Josh said
Jakova sucked his teeth "mane can you get me some food" He said
I chuckled "Ill take them you can stay with mia," I said
Josh nodded and me and the kids made our way to the exit...
