When I got to the place they were all sitting down but they all jumped up once they saw me
I immediately hugged them

"Where were y'all staying," I said

Once they left, mia began to cry

"She didn't hurt them because she couldn't get to them but every time I tried defending them she would slap me or kick me," Mia said
I grabbed her face and saw a scratch on her face I clenched my jaw

Mia lifted her shirt showing a bruise on her side

I and the kids were watching a movie and it felt incredible to be with my family again cause lord knows how much I need them
"She dumb as hell how she gon go downstairs after hearing them creepy-ass noises," Mia said

He just looked at me with a hurt expression and out of know where he broke down in tears
I sighed and pulled him into a hug
"It hurts so much bro I can't stop thinking about them and sometimes I get angry at myself because I don't want to be a bitch about it and I end up taking it out on yall," He said

He began crying harder into my chest but pulled away and pulled jaylin into a hug
"Im so sorry for treating you bad jaylin I love you," He said

"Mia can I talk to you"
She nodded and followed me into the kitchen
"We need to do something he can't keep getting sad we know how that goes because we been through it with you," I said
"I know, but we don't have the money to really do anything about it," Mia said
I sighed "We gon do something cause the longer he keeps his feeling in the deeper the depression gets"
Mia smiles "Anger management legends mom works with depression and anger issues," mia said

I rose an eyebrow "What you mean"

Before I could grab her she ran I chased her up the stairs but she quickly shut the door
I sucked my teeth "Imma wait out here all night if that's what I gotta do"
"MY BAD LEGEND I CALLING" She yelled front he another side
I got up and started banging on her door
"Open the door mia I ain't playing"
I could hear her dying laughing from the other side, but I eventually got up and left her alone that doesn't mean I'm not gon beat her ass tomorrow...
