I grabbed him making him turn "Im sorry it's just that I'm used to being played," I said

"here take her the bottle is in the bag and make sure Jakova is dressed so he can get his haircut," I said grabbing my keys

I rolled my eyes before walking back to the kitchen and placing the notepad in my co-worker's hand
" I don't get the patience today so you gon have to deal with them fuckboys," I said
She laughed and made her way outside I sighed and walked outside sitting on the edge
"When is this gonna be over" I mumbled
"You need some company," Someone said behind me making me look back

He sat down "I understand taking care of the kids is hard and stressful but they all you got," He said
"I know but it's just so much to take on even with josh helping out things just don't get easy," I said
"Sweetheart, when my wife left I had to take care of Alana by myself, no one to help or be by my side I understand the feeling but you gotta realize you're trying everything you can stop being so hard on yourself," He said
I sighed "I know I just really miss my parents," I said letting a tear slip
He hugged me "They are watching over you and are so proud to see you become such an independent woman," He said
Although I wanted to believe him my mind kept telling me that I'm just a disappointment...
Making my way back in the diner Brooklyn handed me to plates if food out of nowhere
"Im going home so You gon have to take care of them hoes," She said
I sighed seeing who the people were,
"Aight stop at miles house and check if the kids are alive," I said
She laughed and kissed me on the cheek and quickly left
I took a deep breath before walking over to the table
"Here you go," I said placing the plates down
As I walked away from the table the girl squealed
"Omg you just poured that on me," She said
"What are you talking about," I said
"Is everything alright over here?" My boss said
"No, this bitch poured soda on me," She said
"Mam do I have to check the cameras," He said
"you know what I don't care y'all are getting sued," She said and she and the other girls walked out
I chuckled "Welp that went well," I said
